Ignored

Several people wearing green, red, or blue silk shirts and pants sat around aimlessly in a bar in the city of Luoyang.

"Hey, you guys wanna play Weiqi or something? I'm getting really bored here." A green shirted man mumbled. (1.)

"Nah, I'd rather set fire to the Koei building." A red shirted man sighed.

"Koei building? What would that be, you lousy Wu generic officer?!" A blue shirted man growled.

"Zhong Hui, stop getting mad." Another blue-haired officer lectured him.

"Well, Yang Hu, the fact is that we've been ignored for so long, and this Wu idiot suggests we set fire to a structure that doesn't exist!"

"The name's Ding Feng, by the way, and if you give me that arrogant crap I'm going to shove my spear in your mouth." The red shirted man named Ding Feng snarled.

"Yeah, his spear." A chubby red shirted man with a beard chortled.

Another red shirted man smacked him on the back of the head. "Pan Zhang, stop being an idiot!"

"Well, Xu Sheng, why don't you go and tell Ding Feng to be quiet? Or tell those Wei folks to shut up?"

"Because... Well, because I outrank you."

"Oh, right..."

"You're gonna take that, Pan Zhang?" Zhong Hui sneered.

Yang Hu groaned as Pan Zhang snarled at Zhong Hui. "You're makin' fun of Wu's rankin' system?"

"No, I'm insulting you because you are a pansy."

"A what?!"

"You heard me, a pansy."

"You're goin' down, bitch!"

"Bring it on, wuss."

Pan Zhang grabbed an axe while Zhong Hui brandished a sword, and the two men started to wrestle each other.

Xu Sheng sighed. "Hey, you, Shu officer, yeah, I'm up for a game of Weiqi."

The Shu officer who spoke the first time and offered the game laughed. "Sweet! The name's Wu Yi, by the way."

"Nice to meet ya."

---------

As Pan Zhang and Zhong Hui wrestled, Xu Sheng and Wu Yi chatted as they played their game.

"So why is it that no one notices people like us?" Xu Sheng asked Wu Yi.

"Because you all suck!" Another green shirted officer yelled.

"Shut up, Ma Su." Wu Yi sighed.

"Aww... No body loves me..." Ma Su groaned.

"Your mom doesn't love you!" A Wei officer challenged.

Gasps filled the room as green, red, and blue officers turned to that Wei officer.

"You wanna debate?!" Ma Su growled viciously.

"Of course." The Wei officer sneered.

"Pardon me for asking, but who are you?" Xu Sheng asked.

The Wei officer glanced at Xu Sheng as though he was an idiot, and replied: "I'm Sima Zhao, son of Sima Yi."

"Then I'm gonna kick your ass, because I'm Zhuge Liang's student." Ma Su sneered.

"Yeah, the student who got his head chopped off."

"That's it, you asked for it you cocky son of a bitch!"

"Bring it on!"

And as they fought, Pan Zhang and Zhong Hui, seeing the commotion, decided to make it a four man brawl. Their growls and the scuffling that resulted from their fight ended up making every NPC from either Wei, Shu, or Wu excited, so the bar became a warzone.

As Xu Sheng and Wu Yi calmly continued their game, the barkeep got mad and yelled: "If I see one more punch, I'm gonna go in there and kick all yer asses!"

The barkeep was rewarded when a burly man gave him a swift punch to the face. "I'm Dian Man, Dian Wei's son, and nobody tells me what I should do!"

And thus, they fought on and on...

And Wu Yi beat Xu Sheng six out of eleven games, and, noticing that the others were still fighting, they went out to get lunch.

And everyone, including the guys who got beaten up, lived happily ever after.

1. Weiqi is Go. (The board game.) Go is the Japanese name. Weiqi was invented in China, and this is a fic about Chinese people, so I figured I'd use the Chinese name.
