A/N: Yes, I got bored last night and wrote a load of depressing Much/Robin Fanfics XD Tell me your thoughts on it! Hope you like it c:
Robin held Much's shaking, dying body in his arms. His hand was pressed firmly on his side, trying to stop as much as the blood flow from the wound as he could, and the other hand was lightly holding his face, his thumb stroking his cheek sweetly.
Much had been stabbed in attempt to save Robin. He was bleeding heavily on his side. He was also shot by an arrow in the shoulder and chest. He, nor anyone else, really knew what happened. They knew Robin was about to be pelted with arrows and knifes, but somehow Much had got in the way and saved him.. at the cost of his own life. Jack, Will, John.. they knew he wouldn't make it. They stood to the side and watched as Robin cradled Much's body in his arms.
Robin held onto him tightly. He was shaking as he sobbed, tears running down his face and onto the stone floor of the cave.
Much looked up at him, and smiled as much as his dying state would aloud. "Robin," Robin shook his head and held Much closer, not wanting to hear a mans dying words. "Master, listen to me, just this once, because you never do," He chuckled weakly, but continued. "I only did all of this for you.. everything. Coming here to the woods, fighting.. I did it for you, Robin. All those times I said it, I meant it.. I love you." He smiled again, but this time it was a smile of a man too close to death, a man with no hope.
Still, Robin shook his head. "No, Much, no! You're not going to die!" He brought his face closer to Much's, rested his head against his and closed his eyes. He was breathing deeply to stop himself crying. "You can't. Y-You just can't!"
"I'm sorry."
His breathing became a little softer this time, and his crying silent. "I never thanked you, did I?" Robin mumbled. "Everything you've done for me, for us.. we just teased you all the time. I hope you know we didn't mean it."
"I know."
"And all the times I told you I'd be better off without you, I didn't mean it at all."
"I know."
"I love you."
"I know, Robin. I love you, too."
And with that, Robin brought his lips softly to Much's and they both poured every single emotion they felt for the other into it, for they knew it would be their first and last kiss. It was a sweet kiss with so much passion, and it seemed to last an eternity.
When Robin moved back, he lay Much gently down, wrapped in an old blanket with a torch next to him.
Even hours after death, Robin sat by his side telling him how much he loved him, and how much he was sorry.
