"It's midnight. Where the hell is the boss?" A man with an American accent obscured in shadows asks as he checks his watch. A little girl no more than six stares at him terrified before she struggles against the rope around her bleeding wrists. Her red hair was dirty and tangled and her skin was covered in dirt and bandages.

"The little shit's gettin' restless," The man says as he bangs his rifle against the metal bars of the girl's cell. She whimpers in fright at the loud bang and backs up slightly. The girl shivers from the freezing cold and hugs herself. Where was everyone?

--

"Henri, wake up!" 19 year old Amy Pond shouts as she throws a pillow at 18 year old Henri Williams, making her snap her head up, startled. Henri sighs in relief and annoyance, realizing she was just dreaming and turns her head to glare at her best friend.

"Why do you always wake me up with a pillow t' the head?" Henri asks in annoyance as she throws the pillow back at Amy. Amy dodges the pillow as Henri slowly gets out of bed.

"A policewoman now? Really?" The small ginger asks her ginger friend as she starts undressing. Amy rolls her eyes as she starts putting her hair up into a bun.

"Have any classes today?" Amy asks as Henri quickly puts on black, high waisted shorts, a baggy white shirt with "Crazy? I prefer the term hilariously unstable" written in bold on the shirt tucked into her shorts, black, thigh high socks with cat faces on them, and black, lace up heeled boots.

"Nah. Not t'day," Henri says as she puts her unbrushed red hair into a messy bun. Henri had stayed the night at Amy's so she could get help with studying for her classes. Henri wants to be a writer but knows she will need a backup career, so she takes classes in linguistics. A loud wooshing sound is heard from outside, the two gingers staring at each other in shock.

"It can't be," Amy says in shock and anger as she runs to her window, Henri following after her. Outside was a giant blue police box.

"Is it him? The one you tol' me 'bout?" Henri asks quietly in shock as Amy backs up when a man with brown hair, green eyes, and fair skin stumbles out of a big blue police box in a torn shirt and pinstripe pants.

"Amelia!" The man yells out as he starts running towards the front door. He shouts some more things that Henri couldn't hear as she follows after her friend into another room. Amy grabs a cricket bat, making Henri raise an eyebrow as the man bounds up the stairs. Amy peeks from the doorway, watching the man as he points something at a door. Henri watches in slight amusement, waiting for the event to happen.

"Prisoner Zero is here! Amelia! Prisoner Zero is here!" The man shouts loudly as Amy silently walks towards the man, raising the cricket bat. The floor creaks under Amy's weight, making the man turn around. The ginger swings the cricket bat, knocking out the man. Henri whistles, impressed.

"Didn' know you had a mean swing," Henri states as she walks over and helps Amy pull the man towards the radiator. Amy takes out her handcuffs and handcuffs the man to the radiator.

"Why an I helping Amy handcuff a man?" Henri asks herself in confusion.

"Why'd you knock him out? He's that man you always talked 'bout. The Doctor," Henri asks, making Amy glare at her.

"He was just an imaginary friend," Amy says, mostly trying to convince herself as she stares down at the knocked out man.

"He's sitting right here Amy. You talked 'bout him so long, I recognize everything from the drawings an' descriptions," Henri states, making Amy huff in frustration before she backs up. Henri rolls her eyes at her friend's stubbornness before following her.

"Ev'n the blue box is the same," She adds.

"Henri. It's not him," Amy says, making the small ginger roll her eyes before crossing her arms. She stays quiet as the Doctor slowly wakes up. Amy leans against the stair railing as she speaks into her fake radio.

"White male, mid-20s, breaking and entering. Send me some back up. I got him restrained," Amy says, making Henri roll her eyes as she stifles a laugh. She leans against the doorway to Amy's bedroom.

"Oi! You, sit still," Amy orders as she stands up straight. The Doctor clears his throat, blinking in confusion.

"Cricket bat. I'm getting cricket bat," The Doctor says in confusion as he notices Henri.

"You were breaking and entering," Amy retorts before the Doctor tries to stand up. He falls back and lifts his handcuffed arm.

"Oh that's much better. Brand new me, whack on the head. Just what it needed," The Doctor says as Amy puts a hand on her hip.

"Do you want to shut up now? I've got back up on the way," Amy says, making Henri roll her eyes. Lying to the man she waited for so long. Wow.

"Hang on, no, wait. You're a policewoman," The Doctor states the obvious.

"And you're breaking and entering. You see how this works?" Amy retorts as Henri chuckles quietly. She's got to hand it to her friend, she was good at acting.

"But what are you doing here? Where's Amelia?" The Doctor asks in confusion and worry. Amy stays quiet for a moment as she tries to think of what to say next.

"Amelia Pond?" Henri asks, making Amy glare at her.

"Yeah, Amelia. Little Scottish girl. Where is she? I promised her five minutes but the engines were phasing. I suppose I must have gone a bit far. Has something happened to her?" The Doctor asks in worry as he stares at Henri. The small ginger stares at Amy, who rolls her eyes.

"Amelia Pond hasn't lived here in a long time," Amy answers, making the Doctor worry more.

"How long?" He asks, making Amy stare at him for a couple of seconds, silently freaking out.

"Six months." The small ginger scoffs silently at the lie and looks off to the side. She always hated lying and she doesn't know why Amy was lying to the man.

"No. No. No. No, I can't be six months late. I said five minutes. I promised. What happened to her? What happened to Amelia Pond?" The Doctor asks in worry as Amy grabs her radio again.

"Sarge, it's me again. Hurry it up. This guy knows something about Amelia Pond," Amy says as she speaks into her radio.

"I need to speak to whoever lives in this house right now," The Doctor says, making Henri turn around.

"We both do," Henri says as she leans against the railing. She's slept over so many times she did basically live here. The Doctor stares at Amy in confusion.

"But you're the police," The Doctor states, making Amy tense slightly.

"Yes, and this is where I live. Have you got a problem with that?" Amy asks in slight anger, making Henri shake her head with a fond smile. Always the hothead.

"How many rooms?" The Doctor asks, making Henri stare at him in confusion.

"I'm sorry, what?" Amy asks in confusion as the Doctor stares at her in seriousness.

"On this floor. How many rooms on this floor? Count them for me now," The Doctor says, making Amy narrow her eyes at him while Henri drops her arms to the side, starting to get worried.

"Why?" She asks, making the Doctor stare at her. Henri blinks in surprise when she realizes how old his eyes looked.

"Because it will change your life," He states, Henri staring at him for a few seconds before she points the doors.

"Five. One, two, three, four, five," Henri says, not even looking at the doors as she counts them.

"Six," The Doctor says, making the small ginger stare at him in confusion while Amy just stares at him like he was crazy.

"Six?" Amy asks before the Doctor nods his head to something behind the two women.

"Look," The Doctor says, making the two best friends stare at each other in worry.

"Look where?" Amy asks as she slowly turns around. Henri stares at each door before landing on a sixth. How the hell did she miss that door for all these years?

"Exactly where you don't want to look. Where you never want to look. The corner of your eye. Look behind you," The Doctor explains as Henri stares at the door in fear and curiosity.

"That's, that is not possible. How's that possible?" Amy asks as she turns back around to stare at the Doctor. Henri takes a step closer to the door.

"There's a perception filter all round the door. Sensed it the last time I was here. Should've seen it," The Doctor scolds himself as Amy turns back around to stare at the door in shock and fear.

"But this is a whole room. It's a whole room neither of us ev'n noticed," Henri says in shock as she takes another step closer. How the hell did she miss it? She knows this house like the back of her hand!

"The filter stops you noticing. Something came a while ago to hide. It's still hiding, and you need to uncuff me now," The Doctor says in total seriousness. Henri walks slowly to the door, Amy behind her.

"I don't have the key. I lost it," Amy says, making Henri turn to stare at her in shock.

"How'd you lose the key?! Those are my handcuffs!" Henri asks in surprise and anger.

"How can you have lost it? Stay away from that door! Do not touch that door! Listen to me, do not open that. Why does no-one ever listen to me? Do I just have a face that nobody listens to?" The Doctor asks himself as Henri turns her head back to face the door and opens it. She moves her hand behind her, making Amy grasp it before the two slowly walk into the room.

"Again. My screwdriver, where is it?" The Doctor asks as Henri and Amy inspect the room. There was only a box and a table inside.

"Silver thing, blue at the end. Where did it go?" The Doctor adds as Henri notices a silver stick thing with blue at the end.

"There's nothing here," Amy says as Henri walks closer to the table.

"Whatever's there stopped you seeing the room. What makes you think you could see it? Now please, just get out," The Doctor pleads as Henri stops in front of the table. She notices soon sort of goo covering the silver thing.

"Silver, blue at the end?" Henri asks as she feels her heart pounding in her chest. She tightens her grip on Amy's hand.

"My screwdriver, yeah," The Doctor answers as Henri snorts slightly. How is that a screwdriver?

"It's here," Amy says as Henri leans towards it.

"Must have rolled under the door," The Doctor says, making Henri swallow in fear.

"Yeah. Must 've. An' then it must 've jumped up on the table," The small ginger says with a shakey voice as she slowly reaches out for the screwdriver.

"Get out of there. Get out of there! Get out!" The Doctor shouts at them as Henri feels the hair on the back of her neck stand.

"What is it? What are you doing?" The Doctor asks in worry as Henri turns her head to the left while Amy turns it to the right. They stare at each other in fear.

"There's nothing here, but..." Amy trails off as she looks to the right. Henri backs up slightly looking from side to side as she hears a growl from behind her.

"Corner of your eye," The Doctor says as Henri turns around, only to see nothing.

"What is it?" Amy asks with fear in her voice as she turns around too.

"Don't try to see it. If it knows you've seen it, it will kill you. Don't look at it. Do not look," The Doctor says calmly. The two gingers turn their heads the same way, finally seeing the thing behind them. It was a weird eel-like thing with very long, sharp teeth. It opens its mouth further, hissing at the two women.

"What the fuck?!" Henri shouts in fear as Amy screams. Henri runs as fast as she could with heels on, dragging her best friend with her. Amy closes the door before Henri runs towards the Doctor.

"Give me that," The Doctor says as he grabs the screwdriver from Henri's hold. He points it at the door, locking it before pointing it to the handcuffs.

"Come on. What's the bad alien done to you?" The Doctor asks the screwdriver as he tries to get it working. Henri would've laughed if she wasn't scared out of her mind right now.

"Will that door hold it?" Amy asks in fear, making the small ginger scoff.

"That bloody door wouldn' hold Rory back!" Henri exclaims, making Amy blush in embarrassment.

"Oh, yeah, yeah, of course. It's an interdimensional multiform from outer space. They're all terrified of wood," The Doctor says sarcastically, making Amy roll her eyes. Suddenly a bright light appears from behind the door.

"What's that? What's it doing?" Amy asks in fear as the Doctor rubs his finger against the screwdriver.

"I don't know. Getting dressed? Run. Just go. Your back up's coming. I'll be fine," The Doctor says, making Henri snort out a laugh while Amy winces slightly.

"There is no back up," Amy says while Henri laughs slightly, adrenaline pumping through her veins.

"I heard you on the radio. You called for back up," The Doctor states, making Henri laugh even more.

"I was pretending. It's a pretend radio and shut up Henri!" Amy says, making the Doctor stare at her with confusion.

"Your a policewoman," The Doctor says before Amy rolls her eyes while Henri starts snorting.

"I'm a kiss-o-gram!" Amy exclaims as she takes off her hat and throws it away, her bright red hair falling down. Amy backs up when the door falls to the floor, making Henri sober up. A bald man with a black dog walks onto the door, making the small ginger blink in surprise.

"But it's just-"

"No, it isn't. Look at the faces," The Doctor interrupts Amy as the man starts barking. Henri stares with wide eyes.

"What the fuck is that?!" Henri exclaims quietly in shock.

"It's all one creature. One creature disguised as two. Clever old multi-form. A bit of a rush job, though. Got the voice a bit muddled, did you? Mind you, where did you get the pattern from? You'd need a psychic link, a live feed. How did you fix that?" The Doctor explains before the man opens its mouth, revealed long, sharp teeth.

"Stay, boy! These two and me, we're safe. Want to know why? She sent for back up," The Doctor says as he pats Amy's foot.

"I didn't send for back-up!" Amy exclaims, making Henri roll her eyes. It was a lie to save them.

"I know. That was a clever lie to save our lives. Okay, yeah, no back up. And that's why we're safe. Alone, we're not a threat to you. If we had back up, you'd have to kill us," The Doctor says, making Henri snort.

"Attention, Prisoner Zero. The human residence is surrounded. Attention Prisoner Zero. The human residence is surrounded," A loud voice says, making Henri jump.

"Holy shit!" She curses, not expecting the sudden announcement.

"What's that?" Amy asks as she looks around, trying to find where the voice came from.

"Well, that would be back up. Okay, one more time. We do have back up and that's definitely why we're safe," The Doctor says, making Henri roll her eyes.

"Prisoner Zero will vacate the human residence or the human residence will be incinerated," The loud voice states, making Henri groan out in annoyance.

"Would you make up your bloody mind fate?" Henri asks no one in particular as Amy's eyes widen in fear.

"Well, safe apart from, you know, incineration," The Doctor says before he tries to get his screwdriver to work.

"Prisoner Zero will vacate the human residence or the human residence will be incinerated."

"Fate's really out t' kill me this time," Henri says as she cracks her fingers in fear.

"Come on, work, work, work, come on," The Doctor says, continuing to struggle with his screwdriver.

"Prisoner Zero will vacate the human residence or the human residence will be incinerated." The Doctor finally frees himself from the handcuffs and stands up.

"Run! Run!" The Doctor says as he grabs Henrietta's hand while Amy races down the stairs first. Henri stumbles as she is dragged, trying not to fall. God, why did she decide to where her heeled boots today?

"Prisoner Zero will vacate the human residence or the human residence will be incinerated," The loud voice repeats as the Doctor and the two gingers reach the outside. The Doctor slams the door closed and uses his screwdriver to lock it.

"Kiss-o-gram?" The Doctor asks as he starts running again, still holding Henri's hand. Amy follows after them.

"Don' ev'n ask. She hasn' ev'n answered me why she is one," Henri states, making Amy slap her arm.

"Yes, a kiss-o-gram. Work through it," Any answers the question. Henri rolls her eyes.

"Why'd you pretend to be a policewoman?" The Doctor asks as Henri glares at Amy for hitting her.

"She was already dressed as one. It was either this or the French maid," Henri explains, making Amy glare at her. They stop in front of the blue box.

"What's going on? Tell me. Tell me!" Amy asks in fear as the Doctor lets go of Henri's hand to dig through his pockets.

"An alien convict is hiding in your spare room disguised as a man and a dog, and some other aliens are about to incinerate your house. Any questions?" The Doctor explains as he takes out a key.

"Course we 've questions!" The small ginger exclaims as the Doctor puts the key into the lock.

"Me too. No, no, no, no! Don't do that, not now! It's still rebuilding. Not letting us in," The Doctor says as the door refuses to open.

"Prisoner Zero will vacate the human residence or the human residence will be incinerated," The loud voice repeats before Amy grabs the Doctor's and Henri's hands.

"Come on," Amy says as she starts pulling the two away from the blue box. The Doctor stops when he notices the shed.

"No, wait, hang on. Wait, wait, wait, wait. The shed. I destroyed that shed last time I was here. Smashed it to pieces," The Doctor says as he takes his hand out of Amy's and runs towards the shed. Henri gives Amy a knowing look. Amy stares at the Doctor with wide eyes as she runs over to him.

"So there's a new one. Let's go," Amy states as Henri walks over to them. Her feet were killing her! She really should not have worn these boots today.

"Yeah, but the new one's got old. It's ten years old at least. Twelve years. I'm not six months late, I'm twelve years late," The Doctor says in shock after he touches the shed and licks his finger. Amy stares at him with shock before she grabs his hand.

"He's coming," Amy says as she tries to pull the Doctor with her. Henri watches the two of them, waiting for Amy to burst.

"You said six months. Why did you say six months?" The Doctor asks as he grabs Amy's arms.

"We've got to go," Amy says, trying to pull away. When that fails she looks over at Henri for help. The small ginger just shrugs her shoulder. It needed to happen.

"This matters. This is important. Why did you say six months?" The Doctor presses, making Amy snap.

"Why did you say five minutes?!" Amy asks in anger before her eyes widen in shock. Henr rolls her eyes as she grabs Amy's hand and the Doctor's. They needed to go, now.

"What?" The Doctor asked, shocked as Henri stumbles slightly.

"Guys c'mon," Henri states as she tries and fails to pull them with her.

"What?" The Doctor asks again before Henri growls in frustration.

"C'mon!" Henri shouts, snapping Amy out of her thoughts. Amy takes the lead, dragging Henri and the Doctor with her.

"What?" The Doctor asks again as the three of them start running.
