Chapter 1
Brooke woke up from the sun beaming down onto her face. She looked around, nothing looked familiar to her.
"Shit! Not again" She moaned.
"Hey baby" A man grabbed her hand.
"Who are you?" Brooke questioned.
"Derek! You don't remember me? … Party, club, my house?" He explained.
Memories were racing through Brooke's mind. She remembered entering the club with Haley, getting wasted, and waking up here. She wasn't really in the state of shock, because this was normal for her and her sister. They were known for the 'the party girls in Tree Hill'
Brooke was speechless; she didn't know what to say. She quickly got dressed, grabbed her purse and rushed out of the apartment as fast as she could.
Thoughts were rushing through her head and tears were falling, 'Where's Haley? Where am I? What's wrong with me' Brooke wasn't paying attention and darting through everyone who came near her. All she wanted was to go back home, and lay in her comfy bed.
"Oops, sorry" She whispered, as she bumped straight into someone, causing all her money & makeup to fall out of her purse.
"Let me get that" A voice said.
Brooke looked up, straight into his bright blue eyes. She had this feeling, a connection to this young man; that she has never felt about anyone else before.
He broke the gaze between the two, "Are you alright?" He noticed she was crying.
Brooke stared straight into his eyes, "your hot" She blurted out.
He looked shocked, and let out a small giggle, "And you're hot to"
Brooke's hand covered her mouth; "I mean I'm fine" She was now blushing.
"I have to go now" Brooke laughed. She stood up, and walked to her car.
"I'm Lucas, what's your name!" He shouted.
Brooke turned around; "I'm Brooke" She winked, and got into her silver BMW.
Brooke walked into her & Haley's apartment, with a big smile across her face.
"Why so happy?" Haley questioned, flipping through the channels. "Why is there never anything good on" Haley yelled at the TV.
Brooke didn't respond. She kept picturing Lucas, and how cute, and sweet he was.
"Hello? Oh Brookie" Haley waved her hand in front of Brooke's face.
Brooke jumped, "Uh, what did you say Hales?"
Haley rolled her eyes, "Where were you last night? You didn't come home"
Brooke looked at Haley with a 'duh face'
Haley rolled her eyes, "Oh yeah, forgot! Never mind"
"Haley I met this amazing guy this morning" Brooke shouted with joy.
"You meet new guys every night Brooke!" Haley snorted.
Brooke hit her arm playfully, "I'm serious!" She pouted.
"Brooke Davis serious, now that's a first"
"What's gotten into you sis?" Brooke asked curiously.
Haley took a hold of Brooke's hand, "I was just worried, because I didn't know where my baby sis was"
"His name is Lucas" Brooke blurted out, daydreaming about him again. "Blonde hair, bright blue eyes"
"Sound's like a keeper" Haley winked.
"I hope so" Brooke whispered.
