"Daddy, look at all those people! I look silly with a puppet!" Said a voice behind the curtain just after a teen's face popped out from backstage.
"Don't worry, son, you'll be fine. When I was on this stage holding that bug, I BURST from that stage and sang the opening song! Yeah!" Yelled the oh-too-familliar voice of Joey Ritcher.
"Okay. I guess I'll be fine." Said the first voice.
Then the show began. As Joey's son sang about wanting to be a starship ranger and all of that crap we all know about. Then the audience heard a voice backstage that sounded like Lauren Lopez. She was talking to her daughter.
"Don't be nervous. I did this a long time ago. And I'm not a social wreck. You know how many followers I got after I did this play? None. So accept your fate and go flirt with Bug!" Lauren said.
"Alright." Sighed the daughter.
Then the song finished and by the time intermission came, all of the young actors known as Starkid 2.0 were exausted. Joey came to chat with his son.
"Hey Matt. How are you? I think you sounded great! Bye. I have to go into the audience now." And then Joey disappeared. Matthew Andrew Ritcher had absolutly no idea what his father had said. On the other side of the big break room Lauren was on a bench talking to her daughter, Chloe.
"Wow! You've done such a good job so far! Hey, have you checked your twitter yet? Check it right now. Go on. Do it." Chloe turned on her phone and reluctently checked her twitter app. She had 21 new followers! And she has 14 new friends on Facebook! While Chloe was being exited, she hadn't noticed that it was almost time for the end of the play.
So there is my first part of my fanfic! Sorry it isn't more related with the play but there isn't a starkid section as far as I know. It will be a little long and get a bit off track. Sorry if you think I am being unrealistic, I never did any research. Anyways, enjoy the rest of the story soon to come out!
