I thought I was cool

I had everything then

I used to have my life planned out. I was going to be a famous lawyer. I was going to marry a doctor. I was going to have 2 children. Then he came along. I was the goodie-goodie. He was the punk. I never broke the rules. He always did.

I always kept to myself

My only friend was Bridge. Then he moved to town. He always had to sit next to me. He followed me everywhere. I had only had one boyfriend before. He cheated. I learned not to trust many people. When he came in it seemed like the world just stopped.
