Me you looked at with those perfect, deep blue eyes, I would give anything to drown in.
Me who was running me hands through your thick hair, which look so soft to touch.
But instead you are with her, my best friend, and all I can do is pretend that you are just a friend.
Because what kind of a friend would I be if I told you how I feel?
How you make my stomach flutter every time you smile at me.

I answer "yes, thank you" instead saying what my heart is yelling at me to say.
I felt it drop to my stomach as I watch you put your arm around her and walk away.
"I love you, Noah," I whisper under my breath.
