Magical Occurrences
Eight-year-old Hermione Granger was bored in 3rd grade. She was very smart and became bored easily sitting in class. Right now she wished she had a book to read. The teacher was talking about addition tables, which Hermione had learned last year. Hermione was moving on to her multiplication tables and didn't need to relearn her addition tables.
Hermione started thinking in detail about her favorite book, The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgeson Burnett. She had read it over 50 times and still loved it. She wished for nothing more now than to be able to read it.
Suddenly there was a flash of light in her hands. Hermione didn't see it because she was looking at something else. She did feel the weight of the books on her hands after it appeared. She looked down her hands and found The Secret Garden there. This surprised her a little but then she figured it had just been in her desk and fell on to her hands. She didn't even think twice about the book all day.
After Hermione went home she took out the book from school. She went to put it on the shelf and was shocked to find her copy of the book already on the shelf. This surprised her but she figured it had been the school's book. She brought it back to school and rarely thought of this event again.
The only times Hermione though about this event was when something else strange happened. Once when she was ten it started to rain as she walked home from school. She was wishing really hard about being home and then she was. This confused her a lot but she forgot about it, too. She eventually found out why all these strange things had happened in a letter from a school called Hogwarts.

If you have never read that book I recommend you do it is very good and remains a favorite of mine today (even though it is aimed at 9-year-olds.) I do own this little piece of fluff's plot and hope you enjoyed it.
A/N: This idea just popped into my head and I had time to write it because it is the first 3-day weekend of the school year. Yeah, no school, (does a happy dance.) I hadn't seen anything like this around ff.n so I thought it would be okay to write it. If someone already wrote this I'm sorry I took your idea I didn't know it was yours.
