She was crying into the tattered remains of his shirt. Annabeth Chase, the strong willed daughter of Athena, his Wise Girl, was crying.

"Hey, we'll be okay." he didn't know why he said it, he doubted the truth of those words himself. but he felt the need to comfort her. Anything to bring back the smart, strong Annabeth he knew. "look at me Annabeth."

She looked up into his grime covered face, and he started to sing.
