If only the Man from U.N.C.L.E belonged to me.

Love this movie. It was great. I love it. I had to write something…

Getting Started

Waverley couldn't help but be impressed with Napoleon Solo. He'd heard of him, of course, and read his file but seeing how smooth he was at the club finally gave his small…idea life. He could use a man like that – if Solo survived the mission and his idea wasn't laughed out of the building.

Illya Kuryakin he wasn't so sure of. Sure, the man was a skilled agent, but he was impulsive. You only had to see his behaviour after he left the men's bathroom to see that. Waverley wasn't surprised to learn later that the Russian had beaten up three young men. He needed to learn to control his temper and with his size, it was unlikely that he could go unnoticed for long. Still, he was a good agent and Waverley could use a good agent.

They were beaten and broken; Waverley could see that taking down Victoria Vinciguerra had taken its toll on his agents – he had yet to convince the powers that be of that – but he still considered them his agents.

They had worked well together, and this when they weren't even a team, he couldn't wait to see how well it go when they were a fully functioning team.

It would be hard to convince the Americans and the Russians to give him their best agents but Waverley wasn't one to shirk hard work and he wasn't one to give up when he set his mind on something.

In the end, the Russians were easier to convince than he'd thought – Illya had failed to get them the disk that would put them ahead in the arms race, so if Waverley thought he could use such a man, than he was more than welcome to him. As for the Americans, Solo's expenses were getting out of hand; the man lived like he owned the whole, they were glad to have someone else pay his bills.

Waverley walked with Gabby onto the terrace.

He was excited his dream for a united team was finally coming real. And they already had a mission. He couldn't wait to tell his team.
