"Mr. Barton! Mr. Barton! Mr. Barton!" The small curly haired lad stumbled into the classroom, making his way towards the teacher. He pushed up his glasses and scrunched up his nose. "They're fighting again!"

The man was a bit confused. "Who's fighting?"

"Justin and Al! They're punching each other and rolling around in the sandbox and everyone's too scared to stop him!"

Immediately, Barton allowed his student to lead him to the playground where the problem was. There was a small crowd of kids circling a small area of the play area. Some were chanting out the word fight, while few dared to yell at them to stop.

In the center were two boys and a girl.

"What on earth is happening here?" He said, moving into the center and pulling the two boys off each other.

Alfendi growled as he swung again and hit the other lad again. "Don't touch her ever again, you brute!" He snapped, attempting to try and get another punch on his rival.

"Mr. Barton!" Lucy yelled, wiping off some dirt on her cheek as she saw their teacher push her friend away from Justin. The nine year old wasn't sure why he was separating the three of them. This game of Play Rough was so much fun!

Justin grimaced and looked up at Barton with the most pained expression and said, "Mr. Barton! Alfendi started it! He pushed me onto the ground!"

"No I didn't! You pushed Lucy off the slide!" Though, Alfendi did and would completely take credit for shoving the bully, he'd never say it out loud. He had enough common sense in his favor.

Barton sighed, staring at both of them and then shaking his head in defeat. These two would go at it for years if no one stopped them. They always found a way to get on each others nerves. Alfendi angered Justin by insulting him. Justin would threaten both him and Lucy and make fun of them. It was always something.

He decided that maybe this time he would take Justin, because he could never get things though Alfendi's mind. They never sunk in the right ways, so maybe the other end of the line could fix this little predicament.

As the teacher left, the crowd dispersed and activity returned to the playground.

Lucy giggled as she grabbed Alfendi's red shirt. "We should do that again tomorrow! That were fun!"

"You got hurt, Lucy! He pushed you down the slide!" He protested back, quite shocked she would even suggest such a thing.

She shrugged as he checked for any bruises on her face. Last time this happened, Lucy had to be sent home and Alfendi was left alone, something he didn't prefer.

"You have to stop getting into those fights, Lucy! You're getting hurt and that's not good!" His worry meant nothing apparently, as she just smiled again and brushed off the fight.

"I'm fine! Besides, it's good to know there's a friend there to 'elp me when I'm 'urt!" She replied, pulling him into a tight embrace.
