"Is this really necessary?" Pearl asked looking at the table with curiosity. The table was covered by a blanket and a candle was placed in the middle. They were in Steven's room and Amethyst had to improvise.
Amethyst folded her arms. "I am trying over here" Pearl rolled her eyes but smiled. She walked towards Amethyst and joined her on the couch.
They both look around awkwardly. "So, uh, what are we suppose to do?" Amethyst asked breaking the silence. "What? Why are you asking me? You were the one that asked me to join this.. date" Pearl flustered. Amethyst squirmed and stared at her feet. "Well I-I figured you know since you are the smart one" she said nervously. Pearl blushed. She stood up from the couch grabbed Amethyst's hand " "Come on, let's go find Steven. I am sure he's an expert on ..dates"
