Chapter 1: The Scary, Gothic Kiku-chan?
Four boys…-er I mean- bishonens were waiting outside a mansion that belonged to one of their friends. The four were Tezuka Kunimitsu, Atobe Keigo, Fuji Syuusuke and Echizen Ryoma. They received a nice but somehow suspicious offer from Oishi Shuichirou. He said that his family is willing them to stay in their house as long as they'll be the ones taking care of the house and they'll be the one doing a very big favor. The offer is nice but it's not…Oishi-like for him to consider this bet since the only reason is because the school those four are going to a school that's near Oishi's.
The door suddenly opened and out came Oishi. After having exchange greetings, he hushed them inside since it was getting chilly. The outside of the house was nice, but the inside was better. It can't be compared with the Atobe's but still; it was neat, clean and organized. They all followed Oishi to the living room and made themselves comfortable on their seats. And then, a moment of silence…
"Umm, so my family agrees. And you guys can stay." Oishi puts on a happy face, glad that somebody will take care of their house while at the same time, not destroying it.
"We're glad that your family agrees Oishi. But," Fuji opened his eyes. "why did your family suddenly agreed to do this?" Mostly, how Oishi got his attitude came from his family, since his family care deeply for things, each other and mostly, the people that they come to love and be-friend with.
"It's because of the favor."
"And that is…?"
"You four have to turn my cousin back to his normal self."
"What?" Atobe suddenly stood up from the chair in disbelief. The other three thought of the same way inside their heads.
"Remember, me and my family agreed to let you stay inside but not on your own. And of course, this is the favor we were talking about. During your stay, you have to turn my cousin back to his normal, chirpy, happy and carefree self." Oishi reasoned them. "Besides, I'll be visiting you guys when I have time from America. And of course, my cousin is already getting excited that he'll be able to meet you guys. It has been a year since he didn't talk except for his family and us."
"Oishi-sempai, a year?" Ryoma asked his senior.
"Hai, Echizen-kun."
"Then why didn't you let him go to therapy?" Tezuka questioned Oishi.
"He will only scare them away every time we do bring him to therapy. I wish I could tell you what happened to him, but since he somehow finds out about it, he'll just scare me more when I come back. Gomen." Oishi sighed. After how many seconds later, he got up and went up the stairs. The others took that as a silent signal to follow him and so they did.
After how many turns from the hallway later, they finally came across a red and black door with the initials 'K.E'. on it. Oishi knocked on it three times before opening it. The room was way to dark that the only source of light is…nowhere; the hallway's lights are the only one providing it. Oishi grabbed the switch from the side and flickered open the light. But how many seconds later, it began to flicker until the bulb died. He sighed in disbelief and grabbed his cell phone from one of his pants' pockets. He flipped it open, making it a makeshift flashlight. He then entered inside with Tezuka, Fuji, Atobe and Echizen following him at his back. And they never noticed the door closing by itself.
After how many careful steps, Oishi went to a sudden halt. He opened another door and entered with the others but before they could go any further, when Echizen was the last one to come inside, he himself closed the door and continued on their way. And then again, Oishi stopped but knelt down and tapped someone's shoulder. The person had red hair, the same style as Atobe's, only longer, floppier and messier. His back was facing them. And then suddenly, the person turned his head around to face his cousin while stopping what he was going.
"Guys, meet my cousin, Kikumaru Eiji. He's from my mother's side of the family." Oishi introduced him. The others were surprised to find out that this…cutie (even though he was dressed in a plain white sweater that has an irremovable stain and plain black jogging pants, in their eyes, he's still cute) is Oishi's rumored scary cousin. Suddenly Kikumaru turned his body around to get a better look at his cousin's so-called friends. He had an emotionless face on and was holding a…body?
"Eiji, you should have kept Daigoro aside! You already know that I'll have visitors coming over." Oishi said to him about the…toy. Eiji just bowed his head in shame. He flickered open his table lamp. The room was lit and everything inside will make you feel like you're in a haunted house.
Eiji stood up from his sitting position and went to put 'Daigoro' away. Eiji put him next to 'Mr. Teddy and Freddy the Skeletons' and 'Fuzzy the Dead Groom'. Daigoro was like anything you can see in an anatomical doll when you enter inside a science laboratory, with all the organs, muscles, human skin and skeleton cut into different sections for explaining; except Daigoro is just for Eiji's happy, scary, sadistic purposes.
Oishi's facial expression is normal, since he had seen this ever since what happened to him a year ago and it became a normal, everyday occurrence. While the other four's reactions? Their eyes twitched from everything they've been seeing inside this miniature haunted house. Inside they were screaming in their heads about leaving the place or praying to kami-sama that he'll not creep or scare them more than he should be. Yes, even Tezuka is reacting like this inside; not physically but mentally.
When Eiji had already put Daigoro away, he saw their reactions and just gave a sadistic smile with his bangs covering his eyes. He does want company while his cousin and the rest of the family are away for a while, but he just want them to leave him alone whenever they're together. But seeing as they will not leave him alone, then he'll just scare them until they will leave him alone to be inside his dark room, using the spirit of the glass to communicate if there's a ghost inside his room and let him watch all the horror movies he'd been dying to watch. It was about gore, blood splatter and death after all, just how Eiji wants it to be.
Yes, he'll scare them away indeed…
So dudes and dudettes, tell me what you think!
