All her life she knew she was different. At school and at home she was the odd one out. At home being the middle child never helps anything, especially when your siblings are both ten times smarter than you and even when you try your hardest they still seem to out smarten you the next day. At school the popular girls didn't look like they wanted to know her and the other girls in her class who were kind of classified as the dorks or geeks thought she was funny and nice but they just weren't her type. And the leftover girls that weren't popular and that weren't dorky either didn't like her or she didn't like them! So life was hard in the way that her only friends weren't even at her school. They went on to different schools and left her to rot in hell whilst the friends she had made at the beginning of the year talk about her behind her back and smile and snigger at the way she talks, laughs, writes, acts and lives her life every day.
She found going to school enjoyable and fun because it kept her busy every moment of the day instead of when she was at home being either yelled at, called upon, or being bored. She liked school and although she did not like to admit, one of her favourite subjects was maths. She liked it because she could do it without much struggle, but she wasn't such a wiz that it was all just boring stuff that she had learnt in her many years before having that class with the teacher she so badly dispised!
