I have read practically every Gakuen Alice fanfic out there and finally got my lazy butt around to writing one for 2 reasons:
I have always wanted to converse with the characters ;)
I am really upset with how OOC all the characters are all the time!
So here it is. My first ever fanfic. I understand if you don't like my story. I understand if you flame it. I am not going to demand reviews but I thought you might enjoy! Thanks guys! =)
Mikan Sakura was locked in her room. She didn't notice. She didn't notice. She was stunned and crying. She wasn't sure why. They were somewhat happy, somewhat sad, and a little longing.
It was Christmas and Natsume-kun had just truly taken her heart with him as he fell off the balcony. Of course that stupid jerk baka had to be all cocky about of course but he was sweet. He had told her he loved her. They were truly and officially engaged.
Why had he had to fall though! Why couldn't they have had just a little longer? Life wasn't fair but she had gotten to see her Natsume-kun and soon, she believed, he would fulfill both his promises. He would grow older. He wouldn't waste his life on useless things and he would try to tone down the missions. Then he would be strong enough to run away with her like she almost did with her mother.
The most important part of those promises, though, was the part of both of them where he promised to live. Mikan couldn't imagine what would happen if she lost another person. She had already lost her mother, her father she never knew, she may never see her Oji-san again, and now she almost lost her Hotaru twice! If she lost Natsume too she wasn't sure what she could do.
That meant the most important thing right now was to stay alive and smiling for Natsume-kun, Inchou, Hotaru, Ruka-pyon, Permy, Koko, Anna, and all her other friends in the academy. She would no longer let herself be 30% uglier. She would stay strong! Besides she is not alone. She has her newly discovered uncle and Narumi-sensei and even Mr. Bear who will take care of her until Natsume can see and rescue her again someday. She can wait until then.
Ahhhhh! This is probably really depressing and nobody will want to read it! So now….ummm… Koko for comic relief!
Koko: Kiri-chan is super nervous she will be black-balled on for being a terrible writer.
Me: Koko that wasn't funny!
Mikan: Hey guys whatcha talking about?
Koko:….
Me: why aren't you reading Mikan's mind?
Koko: shes not thinking anything…
Me: hey mikan… NATSUME!
Mikan: ! what…(blushes) I don't know what you're talking about
Koko: Wow that really did get her thinking!
Me: well what is she thinking?
Koko: oh no these are private thoughts that should not be spoken aloud.
Me: aww come on koko that's no fair!
Me: anyways talking to the characters was really fun and the next time I write a fanfic, if I do write another fanfic, I will try to be less depressing! Thanks for reading! Virtual dinosaurs for you all!
