Dean carefully shifted his weight as to avoid cutting off the circulation in his angel's arm. He didn't want to move to much and cause Cas to move or pull away. Being the little spoon is stressful. Luckily, Cas pulled him closer into his arms and buried his face in Dean's neck. They lay there in bed for a while until Dean finally spoke.
"Cas?"
"What?'
"I love you."
"Dean?'
"What?"
"I love you more."
"I seriously doubt that Cas."
"Well it's true."
Dean rolled his eyes.
"Really Dean, my love for you is astronomical. It feels like my chest is going to explode. Like my heart is being ripped away by the sheer gravity of your soul. Every time I look at you i'm consumed by your beauty, blown away by your storms. You're the most perfectly flawed being in existence, and I'm the luckiest because I get the honor of loving you and being loved in return."
Cas cupped his palm around the back of Dean's wrist and pulled his arm closer. He firmly planted his lips on the mark.
Dean let out a soft chuckle.
"Good night Cas."
"Good night Dean, I'll watch over you."
"Promise you'll be here when I wake up?"
"I promise."
