This is a story about my Inuyasha OC, Mai. It's an old story I decided to rewrite, so It's kind of cheesy. It takes place not long after the demon panther arc. Except the prologue, which is what your about to read, takes place 10 years before. So yeah, 10 year jump from prologue to first chapter.
Summary: Mai, a half demon, find herself lucky, when she happen upon Inuyasha jumping down the Bones-Eater Well. Having found others with the same hated for Naraku as her, she joins them in their search to destroy Nakaru.
Disclaimer: I do not own Inuyasha or Kikyo would be permanently dead.
Prologue
The moon's shining bright over the forest where a shadowy figure come running out into a clearing at the edge of a cliff. The figure turns to find where its chaser had gone. As it turns the moonlight reflects off its glowing green eyes. As it turns full into the moonlight appearing to be a girl, around ten, with cat ears, a tail, and gleaming fangs and claws. Her light blue hair, messy from running. Her blue kimono stained with blood. Another figure, her chaser, jumps out of the trees, but stays hidden in the shadows. The girl takes a few steps back, not noticing how close to the edge she is.
The figure laughs. The girl grunt thinking, What am I going to do?
Then a voice came from the forest, "Princess! ...Princess!" A boy, not much older then the girl, runs into the clearing and see them.
"Li, get out of here!" The girl yelled. But it was to late. The figure was already running towards him. The girl tried to save him but the figure got there first. "Hey, demon! I'm the one you want!" She yelled throwing little ice spears at it.
The demon turned around, catching her by surprise by its speed, getting her right eye with its claws. The girl grabbed her eye and yelled in pain. The demon laughed and was about to strike again, but stopped mid-attack. The sun was coming up, and so was the girl's full power.
"Princess! Run!" Shouted Li. The demon turned and growled about to attack.
Seeing this the princess quickly made an ice spear and lunged at the demon. The demon, seeing her just in time, moved out of the way, but not enough. It's outfit got cut reviling a spider mark on it's back. realizing this it looked at the girl and took off in a cloud of Miasma. Leaving the princess and Li coughing for air.

Sorry it's so short! I didn't realize how big a difference one page one notebook was to one page on the computer. The other chapters should be longer.
