The pills were lined up perfectly straight on the desk. Cassie sat there, staring at them. They were plain white, completely nondescript. Cassie regretted that she hadn't found more colourful ones. This was going to be quite boring, really. Her hands were clasped in her lap, and she unfolded them. The pistol and bottle of Vodka were waiting. She had been here so many times before, it hardly needed thinking about now. She picked up the pistol and uncapped the bottle, slowly pouring the alcohol into the children's toy.

Her phone was on the bed. Sid's bed. Should she phone someone?

And then the door crashed open. It was him.

"Hello" Cassie said without turning.

"Cass, what are you doing?" Sid asked slowly.

"I'm just going somewhere. You'll find me one day" Cassie responded.

She picked the gun up and shot a little Vodka into her mouth. The bitter sweet taste made her face contort.

"You're fucking crazy" Sid whispered.

"Goodbye, Sidney" Cassie sighed and picked up a pill.

One pill. Two pill. Three pill. Four. Swallow them one by one and be no more.

Cassie giggled at her little rhyme.

Sidney walked over, and calmly took the pill from her hands. He took the others too, stuffing them into the desk drawer. Cassie looked at him and lifted the gun. She shot it straight at him, the Vodka squirting all over his classes. He squeezed his eyes shut.

"Thanks for that" He said.

Sid was used to Cassie's crazy ways. That's why he wasn't yelling at her or grovelling on the floor in despair. He wasn't even going to call a help line.

"Shall we finish the bottle?" Cassie suggested.

Sid doubted she was really about to kill herself anyway.

"'Kay" He mumbled, wiping his glasses.

She smiled her Cassie smile.
