"Hey Billy," He glanced up from crouched position he was in, inspecting an arrowhead by the creek."Ya Bee?" Something has been bugging me for I while and I could only think of one person to fulfill my curiosity."Your smart ya know?" Pausing to tug the hem of my faded, three sizes too small, blue jersey down to my new jeans that Grandma bought me. "So I was wondering if you knew something.""Uh ya, what's your point?" He was getting bored. Where was my usual confidence? It's only Billy. He'll be my friend forever and always. He said so hisself."Well I was wondering if you knew what a kiss was." He whipped his head around, a dark pink blush painting his freckled cheeks. Suddenly embarrassed by my silly question I tried flicking my hair over my shoulder only to remember that Granny had cut it earlier that day. A long awkward silence stretched on for years (but was probably only a few seconds.) Until I had to break it."'Cause I heard Dallas talking about a kiss she got from James Cooper down by the diner yesterday." I snuck a peek at him through my yellow lashes. His face was still a bit colored but he was definitely listening now."Well... you know Dallas has the biggest mouth in this here county." Not quite answering my question. Okay not answering it at all. What is wrong with him!"Well?" I demanded. "Um..." Oh heck! Will this boy just get over himself it's a simple question. If he won't give me an answer I'll just go ask Cassidy. The old ladies at the hair salon are always saying she knows everythang about the older boys. Last time I asked her a question she laughed at me. I don't know what was so funny though. All the boys that she was with laughed too."Billy!" I complained tapping my foot impatiently. He stood up, albeit shakily, rubbing his hands down the sides of his jeans. Tilting my head to the side I was about to ask what the heck was goin' on when he quickly bobbed his head forward his lips lingering on mine for a second."T-that was a-a kiss." Re-gaining his confidence. "Don't they teach you nothin' up north?" Fingers lightly pressed to my lips. They felt funny somehow, well not funny but different. It was a nice kiss I decided. Maybe I'll ask for another one someday. I smiled before I understood what he was saying."Billy!" Our kiss was soon forgotten as I sprinted after him down the winding trail by our creek.
Ya I know it's short but there just aren't enough BillyXBee fic's. So here is my wonderfully short version of their first kiss when they were little seven year olds. Bee is apparently a very naive child.
