~Chapter 1 - The Fall~
Ginny Weasley couldn't stand it any more. She was fed up. Of everything, and nothing all at the same time. Of life. She was stressed out to the point where she could no longer sleep at night. The word stress couldn't even begin to describe it. She gripped the cold stone of the rail on her balcony as she thought of it all.
Her father had been laid off work for two months and had not been called back in yet. The family's only source of money now was Fred and George's joke shop, and it was doing poorly. Unfortunately Ginny had gone through some major bodily changes the past two months, and now couldn't fit into any of the robes the were styled for the boys. It had gotten to where she had to borrow from Hermione. Her wand, which was Percy's ancient one, barely ever worked anymore.
She now had to put up with Draco Malfoy's teasing on a daily basis. It seemed he went out of his way just to see how angry he could get her. Day after day he ridiculed her and demeaned her family. Other than him, everyone ignored her.
She was shunted by her classmates, except for the "dream team", because of the chamber incident in her first year. Now, even they ignored her. Harry and Hermione were going out, and Ron and Cho had hooked up. Ginny still couldn't believe the nerve of Harry. Going with Hermione even though she, Ginny, had held him when Sirius died. She had wiped away his tears, and she had prevented him from taking his life. And he chose her. But now the dream team shunted her and if they did decide to 'grace' her with their presence, they all had "holier than thou' attitude.
This past year, the only good thing that had happened was that a certain Blaise Zabini had decided that she wasn't bad and befriended her. But that didn't matter now. He was probably off shagging some girl somewhere. Of all the times he had been there for her, he had to pick this night to be gone.
A crystal tear fell from her luminous honey-gold eye and coursed down her pale ivory cheek as she looked back at her Prefect room. It was full of furniture, but felt empty, jut like her. The night wind rustled through her flame-colored hair as she turned to face the full moon. She shivered slightly. Then she climbed up and over the railing, almost slipping in her midnight blue dress, and stood on the other side.
"Good-bye world." She said softly as she stretched out her arms and leaned backwards. In an instant, she was falling. Suddenly, she thought of Blaise, and how worried he would be when he found her empty room.
"NO!" she screamed, panicking. "SOMEONE HELP!" she screamed
As she continued to fall, she realized. She was going to die.
For her last effort, a blood-curdling scream ripped from her lungs as she screamed "SAVE ME!"
She started to sob, thinking that she would die and nobody was coming. The she felt strong arms encircle her.
"Blaise?" she asked softly and looked up. But then she saw eyes of liquid silver, unlike Blaise's topaz ones. Her eyes widened "Your not Blaise. His eyes are topaz. Yours are silver. The only person I know with eyes like that is---" she never got to finish because everything went black.
A/N - So what do you think? Should I continue? Please review and let me know. How's about this, I get 6 reviews from 6 different people that want me to continue and then I'll write the next part, ok? So review, because every one helps.
