Neji Finds Love
Chapter 1: Naruto Hurts Himself
Summary: Neji notices Naruto one day in the forest and figures out that he likes him.
One day, Naruto was training on his own (because that bastard Sasuke was getting special training from Kakashi and Sakura decided to watch her crush get all sweaty) against five of his clones. Naruto used a Henge no Jutsu and hid while his clones attacked it and he threw shuriken at all of them and they disappeared in a puff of smoke. However, only three of the clones had attacked the log. Two of Naruto's shadow clones popped out of nowhere and, as Naruto dodged five kunai thrown at him by one clone, he accidentally moved right into a chakra-enhanced punch by the other clone (probably breaking a few ribs). The punch sent him flying into a kick by the other clone then into a tree and knocking him out. The clones disappeared because Naruto was no longer awake to maintain them...
Hyuuga Neji had just finished a mission with his team and himself, his sensei, and his teammate were walking on the road to the village that goes around the forest when Rock Lee asked him to race. Since Neji was mad that Rock Lee had saved his life on the mission, he accepted.
They both started running as fast as they could through the forest towards the village when Neji spotted Naruto lying unconscious on the ground in a puddle of blood. Normally Neji would've left him like anyone else except for Naruto's closest friends (because everyone hates him), but lately Neji had started respecting the dead last for managing to beat him. Neji rushed over to Naruto and did a quick check-over to make sure there were no serious injuries. Upon seeing that there weren't any, Neji carefully scooped up Naruto into his arms and ran as fast as he could to the village.
He ran straight through the open gates guarding the village and past a gloating Rock Lee. He ran directly to the hospital and asked for a doctor to see Naruto right away. Naruto was put on a stretcher and was brought to a free room. Even though Neji knew that his task was done he still wanted to stay and make sure Naruto was alright, he didn't know why. When Naruto was all set in the room Neji finally looked at his face. He had never really looked at Naruto, even when they had fought each other. He couldn't help but admire Naruto sleeping form. Neji stared at Naruto's beautiful face and started wanting to kiss it. He felt himself move toward Naruto and cup his cheek. Just as he was about to lean in for the kiss, the unconscious boy rolled onto Neji's hand and nuzzled it. Neji blushed and tried to pull his hand away but couldn't. After a while, Neji got tired of it and yanked his hand roughly away and accidentally fell onto the ground, making a lot of noise. For some reason Naruto still didn't wake up.
Must be the drugs. Neji thought. He sat there in the room pondering what he was feeling for Naruto and why he wanted to kiss him until it was nearing 10 and he left to go home.
