Same old empty feeling in your heart
I watch the car pull away. My heart falling to my feet, though in all honesty, she has it. It is in her hands. I gave it to her a long, long time ago. She may not know it but she's had it all along.
I bet you're wondering where she is going, why she is leaving and why I feel like I've just lost the biggest piece of my self.
Only know you love her when you let her go
To tell the truth, which has never been my strong suit, she is leaving to spread her wings. She asked that of me and even though I want to be completely selfish and keep her here, I'm letting her go.

I love her. With everything that I am, I love her. So the only logical thing to do was let her go. I'll endure that pain a thousand times over, just for her to be happy.
I am making the biggest sacrifice of my life in letter her go. I don't want to. It hurts too much, but she deserves this.
So I stand here behind the crowd formed around her house and watch her leave.
Maybe our time will come. Maybe this isn't forever. Maybe we'll return to each other.
After all she is Jude Harrison, and I am Tom Quincy. Nothing ever stands in our way for long.
