Well this is my first fanfic. I was just bored one night when I got the idea to write this. It takes place at the end of ep. 12 when Kei and Mizuho tell Minoru and Konoha that they are going to get married. In the show, however, it's only a short clip in the montage, so I decided to write the conversation according to how I think it went. Enjoy.
"Breaking It to Them"
Enter Kei and Mizuho
Kei: Are you ready Mizuho?
Mizuho: Yes, this should be quite…interesting.
Kei opens door. He and Mizuho walk down the hall
Minoru: Hey! Is that you Kei?
Kei: Yeah, and I've brought a guest.
Minoru: A guest?
Konoha: Oh, well I'll go get some tea ready.
Kei: Thanks Konoha.
Kei and Mizuho enter main room
Minoru: Whoa! Kei who is this woman!
Kei: Well this is my new teacher at school.
Minoru: Wow teachers sure look better now than when I was in school. Well in any case, nice to meet you Ms. ….?
Mizuho: Mizuho Kazami's my name.
Minoru: Ah, well welcome Ms. Kazami. What brings you here?
Mizuho: I just wanted to come out and meet Mr. Kusanagi's guardians.
Enter Konoha with a tea tray
Konoha: Here you are Ms. Kazami.
Mizuho: Thank you very much.
Konoha: So Ms. Kazami, what is it that you came to talk with us about?
Mizuho looks over at Kei
Mizuho: Um…Kei?
Kei: Well you see guys…um… we have something to tell you.
Minoru: Yeah what is it? Spit it out.
Kei: Well I guess I'll just say it bluntly. Minoru, Konoha… Mizuho and I want to get married.
Minoru and Konoha's eyes widen and Minoru jumps up
Minoru: What did you say! Are you serious!
Kei and Mizuho look at each other shyly
Kei: Yeah, we're serious Minoru.
Minoru: Well Kei, all I can say is… I'm so jealous! She's such a beautiful woman.
Konoha: What did you say!
Minoru: Oh, um… nothing dear.
Konoha: So when did the two of you start seeing each other?
Mizuho: Well I ran into Kei, in town, right after I came here and we got to talking and we hit it off. Right Kei?
Kei: Yeah. Soon after that we started seeing each other, and after that Mizuho started working at the school.
Konoha: Well, Kei, if you're serious then it's all right with us.
Kei: Thanks Konoha, but you realize that we have to keep our marriage a secret.
Minoru: Now why do we need to do that? I'm sure your friends would like to come to the wedding.
Kei: Minoru, don't you ever think clearly. What kind of things would people say if they knew that Ms. Kazami and I are married?
Minoru: Well you do have a point there.
Kei: Well I'll be staying over at Mizuho's apartment, next door, from now on then. We're going to start wedding preparations soon.
Konoha: Well just let us know if we can help.
Kei: Thanks. Well I guess we'll be off then.
Minoru: Kind of in a rush aren't ya? I guess you can't wait to get over to her place. Right?
Kei: Geez, Minoru. Why are you always thinking like that?
Minoru: Well am I not right?
Kei: Well... um... you see.
Minoru: Ah ha. I knew it.
Kei: Geez. Well we'll be going now. See you guys later.
Kei and Mizuho leave and head to her apartment
Mizuho: Well that went better than I expected.
Kei: (sarcastically) Yeah, really. I thought they'd freak out.
