A New Journey

It's been a year since Zoro had defeated Dracule Mihawk and obtained the title of World's Greatest Swordsman. Zoro was 25 now and was in his best physical form. He accomplished his dream along with Kuina's.

The Straw Hats were currently caught in a war with Akainu's fleet and the remaining Warlords.

Zoro's opponent at the moment was Kuma. He sort of had a personal grudge against him for everything he'd gone through.

It had been a close fight so far but he had dealt some lethal cuts on the cyborg. Zoro was going to deliver the finishing blow but he noticed Luffy had taken a nasty punch from Akainu.

"Shit Luffy!" he yelled but that second he dropped his guard was all Kuma needed.

"World Dimension Paw." Kuma said as he swung his hand at Zoro and blew him away from the battlefield.

Asta and Yuno have just received their grimoires and are preparing for their journey to become Magic Knights.

"Yuno it's finally time in a week we're gonna try out for the Magic Knights. I'M GONNA BECOME THE WIZARD KING." said Asta with pride.

Yuno smiled "Not a chance midget."

"Just watch i'll do it YUNOOO." Asta said.

Suddenly something comes crashing from the sky and hits the land next to them hard.

Asta and Yuno go to see what just crashed and see that it seems to be a guy who looks to be in his 20s with green hair. His shirt is torn off and he seems to be very injured.

They also notice that a huge paw mark has been left on the floor. Asta and Yuno grab the unconscious guy and decide to take him to the church to treat his wounds.

"I wonder who this guy is." said Asta.

"Yeah. Let's just get him to the church." says Yuno.

Two days later...

Zoro awakens to the sound of children laughing. He groans and notices he's inside a church now.

"That's odd." he thinks.

"Oh hello there." says Sister Lilly.

"Hey." replies Zoro.

"I can see through my left eye again?" he thinks

"Well welcome to our church we will take you in for as long as you need." Sister Lilly said.

Zoro looked at her "Yeah thanks." he said.

Just then Asta and Yuno returned from their daily training.

"Oh you're awake. Hello i'm Asta."

"Hey i'm Yuno."

"Yo i'm Roronoa Zoro."

"Oh Zoro do you use magic?" asked Asta.

"Magic?" he questioned.

"Yeah this entire world revolves around magic. Everyone can use it except Asta here." answered Yuno

"Well I guess you can add me to that list of people who can't use magic." Zoro said.

Everyone in the church looked at him but said nothing.

"I'm just a swordsman." he said honestly

But Zoro could feel the demonic spirit in him almost scream with rage. He had mastered it but didn't want to bring out that power in front of these people just yet. He had also figured out that he must be in a different world and that he's younger than before.

"What the hell did you do to me Kuma?" he thought.

"Can I use your bathroom?" Zoro asked.

"Of course." Sister Lilly said as she smiled at him

Zoro got up and made his way into the bathroom. He found a mirror and noticed it. Zoro looked exactly how he looked when he was 21 years old. "Damn it appears I still got my scars." He noticed the scar on his left eye. "Well I guess I can open my eye now. Although I could open it before when I used that ability."

He then attempted to use haki. "My observation haki seems to be exactly the same." He pulled one of his swords out and coated it with armament haki. "Same thing with my armament haki. It appears i've turned younger and lost some strength but my body remembers my techniques and haki. It also remembers that power..."

He then decided "Well it appears i'm in another world. There's only one thing to do. I'll become The World's Greatest Swordsman here in this world."

He walked out of the bathroom to overhear Asta and Yuno talking about magic knights and taking a journey.

"Oi is it alright if I travel with you guys to join the magic knights?" he asked. Zoro figures that would be the best way to face strong opponents

Asta grinned widely at him "YEAH ZORO LET'S GO." he said loudly.

Zoro smiled Asta reminded him of a certain rubber man he'd followed for years.

Yuno simply nodded.

"Oi Yuno send me your strongest magic attack at me." Zoro said.

"Huh? why Zoro." Yuno said.

"I wanna test something." was all Zoro said.

Yuno nodded and sent his attack. Zoro was fast and pulled out Sandai Kitetsu and Shuusui and sent slashes to the wind magic that approached him.

He smirked "Just as I suspected. My swords can cut magic. Since i've arrived they've been going crazy wanting to cut something. I was trying to figure it out and it appears they are attracted to magic."

"Zoro! my sword does the same thing." Asta said.

"That's good to know Asta." Zoro said as he smiled.

Yuno looked at Zoro and thought "There's something about him that gives me the feeling he's hiding most of his power."

"Oi Zoro do you have a dream? My dream is to BECOME THE WIZARD KING."

For a split second Zoro saw a picture of Luffy yelling he would become the pirate king but it went back to Asta. He smiled "Yeah I have a dream. It's to become The World's Greatest Swordsman. Also your dream is a good one. I want to be there when you make it."

Yuno then interrupted "Not a chance." he said with a smirk. "I'll be the one to become wizard king."

Zoro smiled again "Maybe this world won't be that bad." he thought.

One week later...

Zoro, Asta and Yuno had became good friends and began their journey to become Magic Knights. Zoro had told him things about himself like his age and that he used three swords.

"So you're 21 Zoro? that's nice." Asta said

"Yeah." Zoro said as he continued walking.

Yuno who was way ahead of them suddenly stopped. As Zoro and Asta neared they also stopped to look.

"Wow the capital looks beautiful." Asta said with stars in his eyes.

"Yeah it does." Zoro added.

Yuno only smiled at the scene.

In front of them was the clover kingdom capital and it looked magnificent.

They finally arrived to the capital and walked towards the coliseum to sign up for the Magic Knights try outs.

Zoro was participant #163 while Yuno followed with #164 and Asta with #165

They made their way to the center of the coliseum and awaited for the tests to begin.

Zoro felt a strong presence approaching Asta he glanced in that direction to see a muscular guy holding him by the head. Zoro slowly approached and put a hand on the guy.

"Oi let him go." he said calmly

"Captain Yami we aren't supposed to mess with the contestants." another voice said.

The guy who was apparently a captain let his grip on Asta's head soften a bit before letting him go completely.

Soon the first set of trials began. Zoro watched with an amused expression as Asta attempted to do the magic but failed completely. He didn't even bother trying since he knew he wouldn't be able to do it.

It was finally time for the last trial and that involved combat with someone else. He kept a calm face as a random confident guy approached him. The guy seemed to be from a royal family. "Hey you do ya need a sparring partner?" he asked.

Zoro grinned. "Yeah."

The match was settled and it soon began. Zoro had a demonic grin on his face and thought "I'll finish this with one attack."

That grin didn't go unnoticed by Captain Yami. "That guy i'll have to recruit him to learn more about him." he thought as he looked at Zoro's demonic grin.

Zoro kept a hand on sandai kitetsu and awaited for the royal to make a move. His opponent began using his fire magic and rushed Zoro. He stood there not worried in the slightest.

Zoro's opponent was finally within range. In a blink of an eye he was behind his opponent.

"One-Sword Style: Shishi Sonson."

The royal went down and Zoro smirked in victory.

Everyone looked at Zoro with awe at how quickly he took out his opponent.

"NICE ZOROOOO." Asta said with stars in his eyes.

Yuno smiled and nodded his head at him. Zoro grinned in return.

Asta and Yuno's fights had came next and they had similar results.

Soon everyone had battled and now the captains were going to pick people for their teams.

"#163 please step up."

Zoro walked up slowly and looked at each of the captains. He didn't really care who's squad he'd go on just as long as he was picked.

"Okay captains if anyone wants contestant #163 to join your squad raise your hand now."

Zoro just stood there for a minute and glared at each captain. Finally the one who had a confrontation with Asta raised his hand. Zoro grinned and walked over in that direction.

"Yo i'm the Captain of The Black Bulls Yami Sukehiro. Welcome to the squad."

"I'm Roronoa Zoro thanks for having me."

"Yeah you better be as good as what you look." said Yami as he watched Yuno make his way to the middle.

Zoro smiled when he saw all the captains hands raise up for Yuno. He ended up joining The Golden Dawn. "Well i'm sure things will work out for him there." Zoro thought.

Zoro then frowned when no one chose Asta but noticed his new captain had just gotten up from his seat and made his way towards Asta.

"I'M GONNA BECOME THE WIZARD KING AND NO ONE OR ANYTHING WILL MAKE ME CHANGE MY DREAM."

Captain Yami burst out laughing "The Wizard King? now that i'm in front of you do you dare say it again?"

Zoro watched as Asta gritted his teeth.

Asta was quite fearless and had the determination that his old captain had when they first met. "Alright that's enough plus I should show those other captains they'll regret not picking me." he said to himself

"Demonic Spirit: Teleportation."

Zoro teleported next to Yami and Asta. "Sorry captain but i'm going to have to ask that you don't make fun of a man's dream."

Captain Yami smirked. "Alright Zoro" He then looked over at Asta "Hey kid join my squad and become The Wizard King someday."

Zoro watched with another smile on his face as Asta seemed to be getting emotional. For some reason Zoro found himself showing more emotions in this world. Maybe it was because he just wanted to be a new man. In his old life he would always keep to himself but he wants to be different here and since he was given the opportunity to start fresh Zoro intends to capitalize in it."

"YES SIR." Asta said as his conversation with Yami ended.

"Congrats Asta we made it to the magic knights." Zoro said

"Oh Zoro we're gonna be on the same team!" Asta said excitedly.

Yuno then walked up to them "Asta, Zoro I guess we'll be separated for now. Let's try our hardest." he said.

"Yeah." replied both Zoro and Asta as they walked to their captain.

"Are you two dumbasses done yet?" asked Captain Yami.

Zoro grinned

"YES SIR." replied Asta.

"Yo Finral take us back to base." said Yami.

"Alright."

Finral then created a portal using his spatial magic. "All set."

"That's interesting." thought Zoro.

He watched as Captain Yami threw Asta inside.

"You coming kid?" he asked.

Zoro nodded and went through the portal.

He looked on with awe at the large base in front of him.

Asta walked up next to him and had a similar expression.

Captain Yami then turned to face them and said "Welcome to the worst magic knight squad. The Black Bulls."
