Hey guys! I haven't written anything since August and since I'm on break I thought this would be a good time to upload something. I actually wrote this ode for my creative writing class. I'd been wanting to write a Merlin fanfic and this was the perfect opportunity. I wanted to try my hand at writing romance and I don't think there are nearly enough Freylin fanfics out there so, TADA! This is my first poem fanfic and my first Merlin fanfic! XD

I suppose my wish was partly granted

Fear and pain can no longer hold you
Your watery grave is now your kingdom
Knowing this
Makes the magic that courses through my veins burn less
It makes my heart lighter and my days brighter
I cannot be with you yet
I must serve my prince
And protect my kingdom
I must be happy for your happiness
