"Artie, do you have a pair of pyjamas I could borrow? I can't believe I forgot to bring something," Quinn said, digging through her small bag. She had only stayed at his house a couple of times, and hadn't perfected the whole packing thing yet.
He rolled over to his drawer. "Dinosaurs, plaid, storm troopers, or red?" he asked, holding out a selection for her to choose from.
She fingered the fabric on each for a second, before grabbing the first one. "Dinosaurs."
He grinned. The thought of Quinn wearing his pyjamas made him a little giddy inside, but he didn't want her to know that.
"I'm just going to go in the bathroom and change," she said, heading towards the door. "Did I leave my toothbrush here?"
He nodded. "In the cup, beside mine."
She grinned. The thought of having her toothbrush in a cup beside his made her feel so happy inside. She wasn't sure why something as insignificant as that made her so happy, but it did, and she wasn't about to question it.
She changed into the soft flannel pyjamas, brushed her teeth, and emerged from the bathroom.
He turned, and saw her.
"I...am never wearing those again," he said, his face reddening.
"Why?" she asked, a questioning look on her face.
"Because when I wear them I look like I'm five, and when you wear them you look like...wow."
She grinned. "Yes, clearly the dinosaur flannel is sexy. You would have said that if I'd picked any of the other ones too. I'm on to you, you know."
He grinned sheepishly. "Well, it's true. You always look like 'wow,' no matter what you're wearing."
She slid into the bed beside him, resting her head on his shoulder.
"I've got a secret," she whispered, as his arm wrapped around her. "I think you always look like 'wow,' too."
