The camera pans over a canyon with a road that twists and turns over itself and thin guardrails over the edge to supposedly keep civilians from falling to their deaths. During the day, this is just a winding road.
At night, however, it's a high speed death trap.
Cut to see three exotic cars drifting down the canyon at insane speeds; a 2006 Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder, a 2005 Ford GT, and at the front, a 2007 Audi Le Mans Quattro. All of them have the same graphics setup: the cars are painted metallic black, with a yellow pinstripe vinyl along with a red, maroon, and black tribal vinyl and a decal of the Nocturnus clan symbol across the driver's side door.
At the foot of the canyon, all three cars drift to a stop. One by one, each driver steps out of his or her respective vehicle.
From the Gallardo comes a lavender cat dressed in a short sleeve tee, long black jeans, and sneakers. She is also wearing a bracelet, and on the bracelet is the same symbol found on the driver's door.
Out of the GT comes a peach colored echidna with a gray tank top, close fitting denim jeans, and racing boots. She has a headband on with the same Nocturnus symbol.
And out of the Quattro steps a purple hedgehog with dreadlock-like quills wearing a black muscle shirt, dark blue baggy jeans, and black sneakers. He has a necklace on, and the pendant is the Nocturnus symbol.
Blaze the Cat.
Shade the Echidna.
Light the Hedgehog.
The Nocturne Riders.
They've come to take over.
This is basically a movie preview-style... uh... preview for my upcoming story, Burning Wheels. This story will be loosely based off of the events of Need for Speed: Carbon; however, the plotline is mine. This story will come sometime during Sonic Speed: Underground 2; depends on whether or not my author's mind decides to write SSU2 out or start up BW. Until then, read, review, and check out my C2!
