A/N: I came up with a lot of fic ideas in the middle of the night. That's like the best time to come up with stories.
Your name is Karkat Vantas. And you are about to ask Nepeta the most important question of your life.
You pace back and forth outside her door. What if she says no? What if she thinks I'm kissing? Fucking, fuck, fuckass, cuntholes. Your thoughts don't help you, in fact, they make you feel about 10x worse. You think about going back but before you even decide to do so, he door opens.
Standing there, in her cute blue hat, her almost too large green coat, and that smile that could even melt the coldest of hearts. Her name is Nepeta Leijon, and you are utterly in love with her.
"Hi Karkat! What brings you to my room on this purrfect day?"
Before you can even think of anything to say, you just blurt out: "I Less-Than-Three you."
She looks at you with a confused look on her face. This only makes you even more nervous than before. You take a deep breath, but then end up blurting out: "I L-O-V-E you."
The look on her face tells you that she is finally starting to get what you mean. Oh god, please don't make me say this out loud. The guys won't let me live this down. But, Nepeta, I love you. You can feel your palms getting sweatier by the minute.
"Is something wrong Karkat?"
You take a deep breath as you take ahold of her hands. Oh, her soft, soft, hands. You compose yourself and look her deep in the eyes.
"Nepeta. Will you… Be my Matesprit?"
You can see her eyes light up at your question. She seems practically speechless until she finally speaks.
"Of course I'll be your Matesprit Karkat!"
Before you can process anything, she wraps her arms around your neck and places a light kiss on your lips. You can feel her purring as you press into the kiss. She pulls away after a while, but the kiss still felt all too short to you. She smiles and takes a step back.
"I'll see you at dinner Karkitty! We're having tuna tonight! That's just pawsitively purrfect!"
She closes her door leaving you in the hallway. You can feel your face get hot as you start walking to your room. Just before you reach it you hear a bunch of laughter. You turn around and see Gamzee, Terezi, and Sollux laughing at you.
"WeLlLl, ToOk YoU lOnG eNoUgH mOtHeRfUcKeR."
"We've all been waiitiing age2 for thii2 to happen."
"N3P374 H45 833N W4171NG 4G35 F0R 7H15"
"Fuck you all."
You slam your door shut on those three and just lie down until dinner.
