Hey just a warning that I don't own the character's accept Misty, Michael, and some of their school friends. This may or may not be a real story, so be warned.
It was my last day of 7th grade and from what I didn't know, possibly my last day in school. I had already gotten a locker that had given the teachers, janitor and some students trouble. I of course had read The Red Pyramid by then, but what surprised me the most was the numbers.
12/32/33.
I shook my head in disbelief. This couldn't be the locker they were talking about. But I spun the numbers in and pulled the handle anyway.
It opened. And there was the box Sadie and Carter had placed in it. I quickly stuffed my bag in, got my first few period books and rushed to the bathroom to open it. Inside, of course, was the necklace with the djed. I looked at it and immediately decided to try to figure out who was in my head.
"Hello?" I wondered, almost a few seconds later I got a response.
"Hello Misty" The voice sounded kind and gentle. Then another.
"Hello" This voice sounded slightly more fierce as if a warrior. I glanced at my other necklace, a small choker with a wooden pendant, it had been my only remembrance of my father and mom, but strange thing was, it had a cow and a lion on it.
"The cow and the lion…? Sekhmet and Hathor!"
"She finally realizes it after how long we have been with her?"
"Let her take her own path, Sekhmet, she should learn to stand on her own ground" I sighed at the two arguing in my head and passed my best friend Michael. I then felt something odd about him. He felt warm, like the morning sun.
"He seems like he's a host too, but it can't be, is he really hosting?"
"Ra?" Hathor sighed, "Only way to find out is try your box trick again on your locker."
Classes passed without trouble and I was easily able to slip my box with the djed into my locker and pretend to fumble around with it. Michael, being the best friend/like a brother thing that he was, decided to help.
"What's your combo?" He asked, reaching for the lock.
"13/32/33" I replied, standing back to see if he could do it.
"…13…..32….33" He muttered as he spun the dial, he pulled and the locker opened for him. "There you…go?" He stopped, looking at the box, I nodded encouragingly and he took it. He necklace started glowing , I realized it had a disk on it.
"You are hosting Ra" I smiled, and then tensed as I heard a crash. "Come on, we have to get out of here!" I screamed, grabbing his hand and bolting off.
R&R please!
