Twilight in a Nutshell

A girl named Isabella,

Meets Edward- a handsome fella'

'Twas a hard love to acquire,

For, he was a vampire.

He shows her his family,

And there's a lot to see,

Bella likes them, though,

But not everything does she know.

Rosalie's harsh and mean,

Yet, beautiful and lean.

Alice is a pixie,

Who's psychic, and tricksy.

Emmett is big and buff,

He's strong, funny, and tough.

Jasper controls emotions,

Which is an odd notion.

Esme is motherly and sweet,

Which is hard to beat.

And Carlisle is caring,

But not very daring.

Edward leads Bella to the trees,

Where there's a slight breeze,

And shows off his glitter,

Of which he is bitter.

He takes her to a field,

And her doubts are slowly healed,

They play baseball together,

Despite the stormy weather.

Then visitors join the Cullens,

Who are now disturbed and sullen.

One visitor smells Bella's scent,

And leaves a dent.

The three visitors leave,

But it's the Cullens' turn to grieve,

For the visitors were coming back,

This time to tear up the pack.

So the Cullens and Bella flee,

Leaving Bella's dad, Charlie.

They drive quickly to a hotel,

Where Bella takes a call on a cell.

It tells her to report to a mirrored room,

For Bella's mom is being held there in gloom,

So Bella takes off without her peers' consent,

And with her decision she is not content.

She arrives, but her mother's not there.

She wishes now she were in Edward's care.

But one of the visitors appears,

And he sarcastically cheers.

He is a vampire too,

If only Bella knew!

Her blood he wants to drink,

And now she can't think.

But Edward comes to her aid,

And her pain starts to fade.

He kills the other vampire,

But the situation still is dire.

For this vampire's previous mate,

Is now truly irate,

And wants revenge really badly,

So she plots against Bella, sadly.

But for now, everything is happy.

The end of this story is rather sappy.

Edward takes her to prom, where there is laughter,

And Edward and Bella live happily ever after.
