Haunted Lullaby
Standing alone in an empty room,
My head feels so confused,
Why me?
What did I do to deserve this?
Other than existing,
Coldness slowly overcomes me,
My only companion,
Scarlet ribbons adorn my body,
Old and new,
L feel so alone,
So used and torn,
Diamonds rain from my eyes,
Only to fall and shatter,
I can hardly move,
Darkness slowly engulfs my mind,
Not even the mighty phoenix can save me,
My mind is to far gone,
Humming a ghostly lullaby,
Never once ceasing the haunted song,
All that is left of me is a shell,
Not even a spark of life shines,
Within my dead crimson orbs,
Which used to have an never ending fire,
Until all that was left was an ember,
Flickering in the darkness of my mind,
Slowly it too dies out,
My will is broken and I am alone,
For the only company I have is my haunted lullaby,
Which is the only way you can tell that I am alive.
