The light of the early morning seeped through the shear white curtains that hung from the window. My eyes slowly started adjusting to my surroundings, as a slight breeze tickled my nose. looking up i saw the smiling freckled face and red hair of my best mate, Ronald Weasly.

"your awake!" he said excitedly.

"morning, i think. what happened?" Even though i knew it was me grumbling the words, i could have sworn a girl had said it. i looked around studying my surroundings. I was in a hospital bed in st. mungo's. The room was all white, the only colors were on the monitors keeping track of my health, and Ron.

"to tell you the truth," he responded, "no one knows. and no one can figure out how to fix... it."

I sat upright, "What do you mean 'Fix... it'?" girly voice again.

"well... " Ron looked me up and down.

"Well what Ron?!?!"

"Well, ave you taken a look at your self recently?" he looked down slightly. I looked down and the first thing i noticed was the breasts, the second thing i noticed was the hands and nails. I jumped out of the bed and ran into the restroom staring at the reflection that stared back at me.

Every one within a twenty mile radius probably could have heard the blood curdling scream that rang out from room 111, because what i saw was truly shocking. There in the mirror stood a girl about my age. Her hair was a shimmering dark mahogany with little hints of light brown and black and about mid back length. Her eyes, full of shock, were a vibrant emerald. her skin was fair, and atop her forehead was the very same scar I had carried for the last seventeen years.

"Wha... "

Ron was soon by my side,

"don't worry, Dumbledore is doing everything in his power to get you back to normal, or at least make sure you can finish school." My breath got heavier as i thought about the possibilities. I could be like this at school, i could stay like this for years, or worst of all... I COULD BE STUCK LIKE THIS FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE!!!

Ron must have noticed my eyes getting wider, because he started rubbing my back while he was whispering comforting words to me, even though i couldn't understand a single word he said. slowly his words became harder to distinguish, turning into a soft hum. Like bees around their hive, protecting it from a predator of sorts. then the corners of my vision became dark, and it slowly spread until i was in complete darkness, and i slowly fell into the oblivion of unconsciousness.
