Chapter 1
The Bowman
Whoosh. Inshuiku fired an arrow at his prey, a moss giant. He'd been fighting the huge monsters for a couple of days now. Sweat beaded down his face. Suddenly, he heard a sound. Inshuiku saw another bowman, but looked like a master compared to him.
The man had a long white beard, a green hat, dark blue armor with crosses on it, a cape with two arrows on it, and a bow. Inshuiku saw the bow. It was a bow he had never seen of. It shot two arrows at once, but his bow only shot one.
Inshuiku managed to stammer to the man, "Excuse me, sir, but I have to ask, what are all of those things you're wearing?" The man turned and saw Inshuiku. Now, Inshuiku's family was not rich, they were actually quite poor. So when the man saw him, he was surprised to see that his clothing was in tatters.
The man said, "My name is Saheraba. My armor, you speak? Well, my hat is a hat from Robin Hood himself! My body armor is the blessed armor of Saradomin!" Inshuiku knew that Saradomin was a very, very well known god. "My bow, it is called a dark bow, only available from the Dark Beasts.
They live in the Temple of Light, where it is very dangerous." His smile faded. "Do not venture there, young one." Inshuiku said slowly, "What is your c-cape?" The man laughed heartily, then said "My cape shows that I am a true bow master. It shows that I have worked my way through my life to become a bow master.
Inshuiku heard about the cape before, but that was about twelve years ago, when the first man in the world received the cape. Inshuiku wanted to venture into the Light Temple and get this "Dark Bow". He ran home to his little village house in Seer's Village.
