Disclaimer: Joss owns the characters in BTVS not me.
Authors Note: I consider it an injustice that Buffy and Oz don't get more time to talk. They should get more time to converse and get to know eachother better. Yeah I know that they've known eachother for at least two years but have they ever really talked? I mean really? Think about it!

Lunchroom
Oz walked into the cafeteria looking around for Willow. Instead he spotted Buffy in the back waving to him. He headed back to the table dodging the idiots who had started a rather large food-fight.
"Hey," he said reaching a chair. He looked around curiously. "Where's everybody?"
"They all went off to the library. Xander bet Willow he could look up this new type of demon faster than her. She got mad at him and they're off doing the research-a-thon right now." Buffy replied. She bit into a chip and sighed. "Left me alone with my Angel thoughts."
Oz nodded sympathetically. "Still with you huh?"
She nodded vigorously. "I keep having dreams about him coming back Then I wake up hoping maybe it wasn't just a dream, but it always is. Giles says that it's normal but they're so vivid. It's like I can reach out and touch him."
She looked sad for a moment. Oz reached for one of her chips. "Well, you know you did the right thing. I'm sorry the spell didn't work sooner."
"I know. I don't blame you guys. I knew it was too good to be true. I think I knew deep inside we didn't have a chance. But I still..." she choked up a bit and Oz put a hand on her shoulder.
"Hey," he said concerned. "It took alot of courage to do what you did. I can't even imagine what must have been going through your head. I actually understood why you left town. I can't say I was happy about it, but..." he trailed off as Buffy smiled thankfully.
"That means alot." she sniffed and whiped her eyes. "So," she said straightening up. "How's the Oz-man. Probably bored with whiny ol' me."
"Not at all," he conceded taking another chip.
"Comon Oz," she prodded. "Tell me about your life. When have we ever gotten the chance to really talk? What about the band?"
"What about it?" Oz teased.
"You tell me." Buffy replied her eyes twinkling.
"Well last night at practice Devon was caught in the broomcloset with one Jessica Byron." he told her knowing she would enjoy hearing the gory details.
Sure enough Buffy let out a gasp. "Details." she demanded.
"Well, Devon went off on one of his rants about how much we suck and didn't come back for like half an hour. When we heard a crash and a giggle we thought for a second that Devon was drunk or maybe he had somehow become a woman in the last thirty minutes..."
Buffy let out a giggle. "Go on."
"Then we thought that the drunk idea made more sense. So we went to find him and we heard him talking to a girl. We opened the closet door and they fell out. I have never seen Devon's face so red. Jessica just started to rant about how much we couldn't tell her boyfriend." Oz casually reached for another chip.
Buffy grabbed one too shaking her head. "She's gonna get it." She looked slyly at Oz. "Bet you'd like to go into one of those closets with Willow."
Oz raised his eyebrows at her. "Hmm. Your ideas intrigue me."
Buffy burst out laughing. "I'll bet you have." she pointed at him as if to intimidate him. "Don't lie to me!"
Oz shrugged grinning. 'I don't kiss and tell."
Buffy plopped down on her seat mock dejectedly. "You're no fun!" she pouted.
He grinned again. "That I'm not."
She grinned back.
