"Few more minutes," the young mother begged as she held her only son. A small patch of brown hair peaked out from the blue bundle she clutched. "My young, Payton Jonathon Halliwell."
Payton's father nodded. Once told of the Elder's decision, he had returned to the Halliwell manor. Upon seeing a demon standing over Payton's cradle, his son's future was certain. Payton would be given to the family in Chicago for his own safety and the future of magic. "Patty, it's time," he whispered gazing down at his sleeping son, a half-Whitelighter.
"Will he remember us?"
