Little whispers inside my head.
Ugly
Disgusting
Stupid
It's all your fault
Why don't you just die?
I cover my ears but they wont go away. They're inside of me, eating and eating. I'm scared they'll swallow me whole. They say my name in slimy, ugly voices. I want to run away, but you can't run away from you're mind. The whispers grow louder.
UGLY
DISGUSTING
STUPID
IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT
WHY DON'T YOU JUST DIE?
They're screaming at me! Make it stop! They're stabbing me and twisting me and coiling me into a pretzel. I can't breathe. They're choking me, laughing devilishly with their hands around my throat. They bare their fanged teeth.
UGLY
DISGUSTING
STUPID
IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT
WHY DON'T YOU JUST DIE?
I claw at my face with my nails. What do I have to do to make them go away? I know I've been bad, I know I've done bad things. I'm sorry. I'll make up for it, I promise. Just go away.
UGLY
DISGUSTING
STUPID
IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT
WHY DON'T YOU JUST DIE?
I open my eyes. Freddie's beautiful brown eyes are staring straight into mine. I take his warming hand and intertwine our fingers.
"I'm crazy." I whisper.
"I know." He says, and kisses me on my forehead.
