On Felucai blaster bolts raged across the fungus planet, caught in an endless battle for control of its surface and orbit between the republic and the separatists. In orbit the republic star destroyer Resolute was trapped in a storm of laser fire as three more separatist frigates exit what was known as hyperspace ripping through the ships shields.
On the bridge of the Resolute "sir our shields are down to 30%" shouted a clone officer from his console to his commanding officer admiral Wullf Yularen who was trying to coordinate what remains of his fleet to hold of the enemy attack. "Damn this battle just can't seem to get any worse" said Yularen under his breath so that nobody would hear him. "All power to the forward shields we have to hold them of till General Skywalker has finished his mission" he commanded to the clones sending them scurrying across the bridge to complete their tasks.
Planet side "sir we`re taking too much fire!" yelled a clone with distinguished blue markings on his armor and helmet into his comlink as the AT-TE he was sheltering close by to exploded raining fire and broken shards allover killing those inside instantly. The troops that were next to the tank lay scattered around the wreckage their bodies lifeless and still. "Frak!" swore the captain looking at his leg now with shard of metal going through his calf muscle. Blood pooled out of the wound as he crawled back behind some large boulders to escape the blaster fire from the droid forces. "Rex! Rex Do you read me!" sounded a voice form his comlink. "I, I read you general" replied Rex his voice gasping from the pain in his leg. "What was that explosion I just heard?" Anakin asked through the comlink. "Our last tank sir got hit by debris its ba…" Rex`s voice faded over the comlink.
Skywalker`s position "Shit!" swore Anakin loudly without realizing his padawan was right next to him. "What's wrong you never swear unless something's gone to hell?" asked Ahsoka as she gracefully deflected blaster fire back at the droids attacking them. "Rex is down I need you to take a squad and some medics and go help" replied Anakin as he sliced a small group of droids into chunks with his blue lightsaber. Ahsoka nodded, gathered her troops then took off through the fungus jungle.
Resolute "Sir we`ve lost all shields, we`re sitting ducks out here" reported a clone officer to Yularen as the ship shook violently. The admiral shook his head the separatists had them out numbered and out gunned by a 3 to 1 margin. "Then we have no choice, full retreat" he ordered taking one last glance at the planet below as the resolute turned and jumped into hyperspace leaving their ground forces behind. "Contact General Kenobi and give him a full report on the situation" Yularen said to an officer before exiting the bridge and retiring to his quarters.
