The Drum Festival The Sake Contest: Part 1

Kagome's POV
"What is Inuyasha up to again?" I ask out loud. I just finished packing for a three-day's stay in the feudal era and now I'm at Kaede's hut. "This place is practically deserted!" I wonder where he could have gone off to. He better not have gone off with Miroku to go and get some sake...er! I decided to head of on my bike and go look for him. This would be so much easier if there were cell phones! "The village can't be that far, if I pedal fast I can get there in at least 5 minutes."
Inuyasha's POV
"Damn! Kagome should be here just about now! Doesn't she know about the big drum fest at the village? Or did she forget? I should have known."
"Tsk. Tsk. Tsk. Inuyasha, now don't get yourself in a bind.", Miroku says to me. "I'm sure she will figure it out when she sees that no one is at Kaede's. She's a pretty clever girl.
"Miroku! I didn't ask you! Could you just shut up and let me rant a little every now and then?"
"Fine. Inuyasha. Whatever." scoffs Miroku.
Kagome's POV
"Wow! Look at all the people!" Now that I recall, Inuyasha did say something about a festival going on. "I'm so slow!" Oh look, there's Inuyasha and Miroku now!
BOTH
"Hey Kagome! Where have you been!" bursts out Inuyasha. Miroku jams Inuyasha in the ribs and says, "See, I told you. You had nothing to worry about."
"Hey guys! I completely forgot about the drum fest, sorry I made you wait!" says Kagome, "Now let's not waste any time and let's get involved in some activities!" She pulls them off their feet and whisks them away. "So.", Kagome says, "Where is everyone else?"
"Actually, I believe Sango is in the sake drinking contest." points out Miroku.
"Really!" says Kagome in shock, "Who put her up to that one?" Miroku starts whistling and slowly looks away.
"Miroku...and Inuyasha didn't even move a muscle to stop you either, did he?"
"No!", says Miroku, "Actually, it was his idea in the first place!"
"Inuyasha!" shouts Kagome.
"Eh?" Inuyasha says, knowing what's going to happen any second, waiting for her to say those two words...waiting for his face to be shoved into the ground.
"Don't let Sango have all the fun! I want to join too!"
Both Inuyasha and Miroku give her a very confused look. Then, they look at each other and give a sly grin.
"Ok Kagome. I think I'll take you up on that offer." says Inuyasha.
"Yes of course Kagome. I believe the contest is right this way." Miroku calls out. And then he leads the way...
"Oh my God! This is going to be so much fun guys!"
Inuyasha and Miroku give out a laugh, trying to hide it from Kagome.
"Man.", Miroku says, "This is going to be some site."
"Yeah.", says Inuyasha, "One definitely worth seeing."
