Chapter 1
It's finally the first day of school again for Mitchie after the second summer and Connie knocks on her door and opens it.
''Mitch time to get up first day of school!'' Connie tells her
''mmm no Mom not now!'' Mitchie tells her in her sleep trying to keep herself asleep and keeps dreaming about Shane
''shane...just kiss me.'' she says in her sleep and smiles and leans in towards him in her sleep
Connie just smiles trying to shake Mitchie awake.
''come on sweetie you're going to be late!'' Connie tells her
''mmm mom stop!'' Mitchie whines then loses her dream and wakes herself up
''thanks a lot mom you woke me out of a dream I didn't want to wake up from!'' Mitchie gets mad at her
''I know you miss Shane sweetie but it's like 7:30!'' Connie tells her
''What Mom!'' Mitchie gets mad at her because she is late and gets up out of bed fast trying to throw herself together in 2 seconds
''so you okay?'' Connie asks her
''yea why?'' Mitchie questions her
''I know you miss him.'' Connie says
''I know.'' Mitchie says looking down
''are you gonna be okay to drive yourself to school today?'' Connie asks her
''yea I'll be fine.'' Mitchie tells her
''okay.'' Connie says
''okay I'm gone I'll see you after school.'' Mitchie tells her and kisses her cheek
''have a good day sweetie.'' Connie tells her
''I will.'' Mitchie says grabbing her backpack and throws it over her shoulder and leaves the house and drives to school
in class Mitchie has a hard time focusing and is day dreaming and her friend flicks a folded up piece of paper that looks like a paper football at her.
''Mitchie!'' her friend said softly not to disturb the teacher
''what?'' Mitchie jumps
''pay attention!' her friend tells her
''sorry.'' Mitchie says and gets tired and lays down with her head buried on her sweatshirt on her desk and closes her eyes and starts dreaming about Shane again
