Miranda Dagger looked at all the buildings surrounding her as she walked through London. Luckily no one knew she was a pirate. Otherwise, things would be very bad; most pirates who were caught tended to get hung. That, and she was young enough (at the mere age of 16) that no one would suspect her anyway. She laughed to herself as she thought about this. Ahh.. If only everyone knew what she'd done as her life as a pirate.

Miranda walked over a short stone bridge as she looked for the dock she put her ship in. It was a fairly small ship, but it was still hers. Sometimes it was challenging to run it all by herself, but she did manage.

She noticed a few passersbys were looking at her funny, and she guessed it was because of her attire. As a pirate she couldn't wear a dress or it would be extremely hard to do anything. She wore black pants with brown boots and a red blouse. She pushed her brown, worn hat down to cover her eyes to give people the message to mind their own business

After a few minutes, Miranda spotted her small ship. She walked down to the boat dock to get on it when two British guards came running toward her and pointing. "YOU! COME BACK HERE!" one of them yelled. Miranda raised her eyebrows and turned around, slapping herself in the face when she remembered the reason they were after her. Earlier that morning, she went to a small bakery and asked for a loaf of bread. While the baker turned around to get it, Miranda snatched some gold the baker had gotten from other customers. The baker had given the loaf of bread to Miranda only to realize their money had been stolen when Miranda, with bread and extra gold, ran from the shop.

She sighed as she recalled that event. No doubt the baker or someone else tipped off a thief was in town. They probably guessed she was a pirate by now too. The young pirate ran to her ship as quickly as she could as the guards continued to chase after her. She hopped on deck and uh roped it from the dock and set sail, laughing at the guards as they fired gunshots at her but missed. "To Tartoga!" She said as she sailed. She had some business with a certain Captain Jack Sparrow to deal with...

Sorry this chapter is so short. I promise the next one will be much longer?
