parents, my first day of school in LA, and making friends with Jackie, Bailey, Lana, Kevin, Brad, Adrian, and Sam. Memories of elementary and middle school days flashed
by as I continued to plummet headfirst. Bumping into Patricia on my first day at Anubis house, spilt water, food fights, and Amber with her pink everything and
matchmaking.
"Sarah!" I begged hoping that she could hear me, "Help me!" No response. Memories of Sarah leaked into my mind. The old people's home, the locket, her box that
she left for me, Sibuna, and the cup of ankh all flew before my eyes. All burned into my mind that I was the chosen one. Amber, Alfie, Patricia, Jerome, Mick, Mara,
Trudy, and Fabian… Friends that I would, nor could, ever forget. Especially Fabian, or as Amber puts it, Fabina. Fabian… the kindness he showed me on my first day,
him being concerned for me, the awkward positions we were put in, my horrible lying, and his geek – sheik air to him. The kiss on prom last year, how he tried to save
me from Rufus's grasp, trying to ask me to prom and being interrupted almost every time brought a smile onto my face. Remembering the kiss we had moments before
I fled, I realized something very important that concerns both of us. That I, Nina Martin, am hopelessly in love with Fabian Rutter.
