I don't know what I'm doing but I'm gonna do it. Most of these chapters will be something I came up with at 2 am or something. Now for exposition. In the 1800s and stuff where Newsies takes place, you got a lot of crap for lgbt and race, religion, etc so you might see stuff you don't wanna see. I might decide to do graphic stuff or something. Well now that's out of the way, enjoy the story!
"Wake up, Davey it's time to go to work!" Les yelled jumping on Davey like he was a trampoline. Davey looked at his watch and groaned, pushing Les off their shared bed and getting up. Davey then walked to the kitchen and practically dropped a pan on the stove. He was about to crack an egg when Sarah came out of nowhere and took it out of his hand.
"Leave the egg cracking to me," she said. For once Davey didn't argue, he just sat down at the table next to Les. Les was excited today. He was finally gonna beat Romeo at cards after work, he just knew it! He also secretly liked Sarah's scrambled eggs better than Davey's.
"How long didja stay up doing homework this time, David?" Les asked, looking at his brother who was slumped at the table which was something he'd normally never do. Slumping at the table was terrible manners, but he couldn't help himself.
Soon enough the eggs were done and Sarah gave Davey and Les their plates, "you two want any toast?" She asked.
"Yes please," they said in unison. Sarah then put two pieces of toast in their old, ugly toaster. Les was eating faster than a hungry wolf. He wanted to get to work early so he could hang out with his friends. Davey ate his eggs slowly and tiredly. He'd been exhausted lately from trying to balance school and home. He needed to go to school so he could teach Les and he also needed to go to work so he could support his family. Everyone in the family worked low-paying jobs. Even Sarah was able to find a job in Lower Manhattan that would accept girls.
Two burnt pieces of toast came out of the toaster and Sarah put a little bit of butter on them. She gave one to Les and one to Davey before she served herself the rest of the scrambled eggs.
After Jack helped Crutchie down the fire escape, the two made their way to work. There was a new face there and Jack slightly hoped it was a new kid, but the kid soon left with a questionable look on his face. Jack didn't like that kid. He didn't know him either.
"Hurry up, even I'm moving fasta' than you," Crutchie said. Jack walked at his normal pace to catch up with him then eventually slowed down to his speed.
"What'dya think the headline'll be today?" Jack asked, nudging Crutchie.
"At this point I'm not sure. All I'm gonna do is look cute and sell 'em," Crutchie replied, smiling.
"You do that," Jack said ruffling Crutchie's hair. The two made their way to everyone else. Les was sitting at a small table with some cards he was looking at. Henry was being Henry. Albert was standing in line for some papers. Specs was looking at a book; Jack wasn't too sure if he could read. It was hard to keep track of who Davey taught reading to yet. Everything was perfectly normal nonetheless. No Delancies, no Snyder, no cops, just Jack and his brothers. The way it's supposed to be.

Startin' off with some light exposition the potential foreshadowing and a lot of Cinnamon roll fluff. Personally, I think this chapter might be a little short but I'm pretty new to this. I'm planning some crazy things and maybe even a sequel if I have to, but this is gonna be one cool ride. Any ideas, comments, or criticism? Comment please! I always enjoy a good review.
