Declaimer: No I do not Harry Potter or any of the characters, only the plot
*sigh*
I dare to dream though..

He was walking through the dark corridors. Not even aware of where he was going. He finally stopped to observe the surrounding in which he found himself. His mind was so full of thoughts as he neared and sat by the lake.
How could he have let it go so far? She was like a sister to him. The sister he never had. Or was she? Looked up at the stars in dismay.
"Why?" he asked them out loud, his messy black hair falling back.
He allowed her image drift into his mind once again. The thousandth time that day. Her eyes, where he could see the entire universe, that hair of hers, that resembled the fire she lit in his own heart, her touch that sent shivers down his spine threatening to explode within him, and her smile, a smile she reserved just for him. That smile sent him in a trance whenever he saw it; it was going to be the end of him. Ever since he realized he had felt this way about her, he tried to ignore it, yet his eyes followed her everywhere.
"Why?" he called out again, louder than before. He didn't expect an answer. But he got one
"Why what?" a voice asked. He jumped in surprise but remained seated on the ground.
He forced his eyes to stay transfixed on the other end of the lake. His blood froze. He knew that voice. It visited him in his dreams every night, and he didn't want the owner of that melodic voice to see him now, like this; with watery eyes, on the edge of falling
"Nothing" came his answer; not even he knew where he had found it. They spoke nothing for a while
"Ok. If you need to talk, about anything, I'm here for you Harry. Always" she breathed, turning her heel to leave. His heart began to weep as he heard her footsteps walk away
"Ginny!?!" he exclaimed, not taking his eyes off the lake's shore. His heart gave a leap of relief as he herd the footsteps come to a halt. "Please stay" he begged, his voice trembling.
She didn't give an answer. She just walked to him and sat beside him, her eyes focused in the same direction. She shot him glance and saw tears falling down his cheeks. She shifted her position so she could sit in front of him.
"Harry, what's wrong?" she asked with concern. He could see the feeling in her eyes.
"He's gone," he said after a while, his voice cracking "He's gone but I'm not mourning him. Not yet" he hesitated but soon found his voice again, and continued "I have these feelings that I cant - I don't have any room to cry for him. And I hate it!" he finished slightly aggravated with himself. He looked her in the eyes but soon he dropped his gaze to the ground.
Ginny stretched out her hand and lifted his head to level hers. He was warm. She looked into his eyes and was shocked at what she saw. As she held his head in her hands, he closed his eyes, so he wouldn't see her looking at him as she did. He cold feel her piercing gaze and so gave in to the temptation of opening them again. He could feel her thumbs wipe away his tears, as he stared back into her eyes
Then she did something that he would never be able to forget; she leaned towards him and pressed her lips on his. It was magic
"It's ok. It's going to be ok" she whispered soothingly
"I know" was all he could manage as he leaned on her, pushing her to the ground, his lips claiming hers.
This time the magic lasted longer, as they allowed their tongues to explore the others mouth. They both moaned, feeling something neither of them had ever felt before; ecstasy.
They withdrew, looking into each other's eyes, lips swollen from the friction of passion the kiss provided, cheeks flushed from the intensity of their emotions. They knew there and then that they were made for no one but each other. One fulfilling the other. Soulmates.
