A/N: Okay, before anyone stabs me with a stick, allow me to explain why I'm writing this, and not focusing on my current story. Thing is, I'm trying to work out the bugs in the upcoming chapter for that (since there are more OCs than I expected) and plus I just got a pretty difficult OC submitted, so I gave to find something to do with her, and this just finally got to me after I watched more of DarkHarvest00's videos. If you guys like SlenderMan, and pretty good storyline, go watch 'em! I mean, I love them. I'm not sure if you guys will... But, let's get on with this crappy story!

Scars Last Forever, Friends Don't

~Prologue~

Vyvyan huffed, trying his hardest to keep the girl on his back without her falling off and into the mud. She groaned in pain, her eyes clenched shut as the blood trickled from her open wounds.

"Don't worry, shorty," Vyvyan whispered to her in a pained voice as he continued to stagger through the mud. "We'll be home soon. We'll get through this. You'll be okay. We'll find Haku and Echo, and we'll go home. I promise!"

He heard his friend give out cough, and felt little blood drops land on his cheek. He winced as the warm, dark red liquid landed on his flesh, and panicked when he felt the small girl go limp. Her body slid slowly to the side, and Vyvyan wasn't able to catch her in time. She fell off his back and into the squishy mud that awaited below. The male cried out in shock as he turned to face his unconscious comrade. He got on his knees, bringing the muddy female into his lap and trying to shake her awake. Her blood dripped slightly on his hands as he continued to shake, slap, and shout at her. Vyvyan tried anything to get his dear friend to wake up.

"C'mon, shorty! Please, wake up!" he begged, tears falling from his eyes. "Dammit! Get up! You can't leave me! Not like this! Please!"

The female continued to lay limp in his arms, her breathing slow and heavy, as though she had a hard time drawing in the cold air. Quickly, Vyvyan picked up the girl, tears blinding his eyes as he continued to rush through the forest, screaming for anyone to help him here and there. He heard the sound of static, which only made him run faster. He only whimpered as it got closer. He really didn't want to go out like this.
