Focus: Sora, Pot Spiders (kind of)

Summary: Sora hates Pot Spiders even after his adventure is over. Even when they're not actually there. Oops?

The sound of shattering porcelain echoed briefly throughout the house. A moment later, another sound echoed, and it was a far less pleasant one, insofar as something breaking could be pleasant in the first place.

"Sora! That was my favorite vase! What did you do that for?"

The young Keyblade Master actually looked embarrassed as his weapon shimmered away and he shifted nervously. "Sorry, Mom. I thought it was going to attack me."

She stared at him in disbelief, slowly shaking her head. She believed his stories about the things that he'd seen, heard, and done while he was gone. It was hard not to with King Mickey Mouse backing him up. But still…he'd thought her vase was going to attack? "Sora."

"See, there were these things called Pot Spiders I ran into, and they looked a lot like vases, up until they sprouted legs and attacked me, and I thought I saw that one moving when I went by it."

Despite the fact this was perfectly true, Sora did not get away without having to clean up the mess and having to buy a replacement vase for his mother. But that wasn't the end of it.

Even being the Keyblade Master didn't stop him from having to get a part time job to pay for the fourteen vases he broke when he was shopping for the replacement. Even explaining that even after all this time, his nerves were still on edge didn't get him out of that. And the thought of what Riku would say when he found out was almost as annoying as what Riku did say when he found out.

Sora really, really hated Pot Spiders.
