Songfic using Eric Clapton's song "Wonderful Tonight"

Cloud and Tifa go out for a small get together with all their old friends.
It's late in the evening.
She's wond'ring what clothes to wear.
She puts on her make up,
and brushes her long brown hair.
Cloud walked up the same old stairs of the Seventh Heaven, counting again the same old creaks in each stair. He walked passed his own room and after peeking inside he quietly reminded himself to clean it up a little bit tomorrow. He walked up to Tifa's door and knocked quietly.
"Tifa? Are you almost ready? It is a quarter 'till 8."
"Almost...I'm not sure..."
"Not sure?"
"Cloud will you please come in and tell me what you think?"
"...Sure..."
Cloud walked in slowly, only to be stopped dead in shock as he looked at Tifa, looking absolutely stunning in a long red dress with a red hair band and a simple yet elegant necklace with had a smaller version of his wolf on it.
And the she asks me: "Do I look alright"
And I say "Yes, you look wonderful tonight."
"How do I look?"
"Wonderful..."
Tifa smiled at Cloud before giving him a quick kiss on the cheek and looping her arm with his and walking down the same old creaky stairs to the car.
"Are you ready Cloud? I konw this is the first time that we have seen everyone in a long time..."
"Yeah, I'm good."
They drove off to the small hotel reception area the group had rented to catch up. Everyone was there, even Vincent of all people, everyone was gathered around each other talking of the things they had been doing since meteor fall and the reminants. Cloud and Tifa made their entrance and all eyes seemed to focus on them.
We go to a party,
And everyone turns to see

is walking around with me.
Everyone says hello and greets the couple, shaking hands and exchanging hugs. Cid brags on his new airship while Barret attempts to out do Cid by bragging on the oil field. Yuffie seems to have snuck some beer and is now horribly intoxicated, nothing out of the ordinary. Vincent quietly nods and proceeds to drag Yuffie away from everyone else before she makes a complete ass of herself.
And then she asks me: "Do you feel alright"
And I say "Yes, I feel wonderful tonight."
"Cloud are you okay?"
"As long as your by my side I am."
Cloud pulled Tifa in for a quick kiss before being interrupted by Barret.
"Yo Spike!, Quit that mushy crap and get over here for a beer with me and Cid!"
Cloud rolled his eyes and smirked "Guess I better do what he says, Tif."
"Good idea, I'm going to go speak with Red for a minute."
It's time to go home now,
And I've got an aching head.
So I give her the car keys,
and she helps me to bed.
Serveral beers, arm westling competitions and broken chairs later it was time to call it a night. Everyone said goodbye and went there seperate ways. Cloud had now gotten quite the headache and asked Tifa to drive home, and she did.
Once back at the bar, Tifa took Cloud up to bed and tucked him in on his side before climbing in on her side and cuduling close with the love of her life.
And then I tell her, as I turn out the light,
I say "My darling, you are wonderful tonight,
oh, my darling, you are wonderful tonight."
"Tifa, you are wonderful to me, I love you."
"I love you too, Cloud. So much."
They kissed the best kiss of the night and settled in for the night, dreaming of more great nights just as these.
I feel wonderful,
because I see the love light in your eyes.

is that you just dont realize how much I love you.
