+ Unknown POV+

Her blood is warm. I can feel it, even from a meter away. She weakens by the moment, and for that, I must smile. I admit she put up a very good fight, considering that it was me who she was fighting. A very pretty girl she was, but no longer. Her aura is slowly fading, taking her life with it. Her beautiful jade eyes stare up at me in horror. I can only image what she is thinking. No doubt she is frightened, scared of death. There, she pauses a bit. Our eyes are catching one another's, but I'm afraid that I won't stare into her gems. They are too happy, too filled with life and love.

Instead of watching her die, I walk up to her, almost timidly. She looks a little tired. That's good; she won't be too hard to deal with now. Generally his victim would be dead now, but she was stronger than the others. Eventually she would die, and when she did, I would be the one to take her aura. I'm standing above her, staring intently down upon her naked flesh. Her eyes are wide and filled with fright. She can't move away from me, not with her leg broken. A soft chuckle escapes my numb lips, making my prey flinch. I do admire my work, so artistic. Swiftly I move my hand down to her neck and rip off the key hanging there. Perfect. With the cards and key at my grasp, the Fading Light will be mine…

+Sakura's POV+

I can barely see anything as I look at the man. He's about a meter away, staring at me. I would try and cover my chest, but I can't move. The cuts he inflicted on me hurt, oh so badly. I've never gotten cut before, except for paper cuts. Yet these wounds don't compare to small cuts from thin sheets of wood. His magic was strong, more powerful than mine. Even though I'm the Card Mistress, the one who is supposed to be the most powerful, he defeated me. Perhaps I was getting cocky, too self-assured. He used his metal cards to cut me. My body is marked with strange designs, and several symbols for an unknown language. Man, I don't feel good. Death was coming; I already knew that. Somehow his cuts were a spell, and they bled more than normal. Everything's hazy now. I can she him, he's standing over me. I want to connect with his eyes, maybe try to ask him why he did this. He wouldn't do that. Instead he took the key. I wanted to protest, but I'm too weak. Death is here, his breath cold and nasty. The strange man is gone, and I am surrounded by darkness.

(Awww…isn't it CUTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please review and if we get a good response, we'll continue. Heehee)
