Rain, it looked like all of heaven was crying because of everything that had happened on earth. I was looking up at the ceiling, people continued with there normal life after the war ended. Everybody did except me.
I'm Hermione Granger and I have been in coma since the final battle. You may think it's weird that a girl in coma is telling you her story, but stranger things have happened than this, hasn't it?
It's been two years since Harry killed Voldemort; I was hit with an unknown curse. They don't know how did it and they can't do anything to help. I'm only a waste of space, Harry and Ron still comes, but less and less since they both got married, Ron to Parvati and Harry to Padma.
On his last visit Harry told me Ginny had become engaged to Neville, a sweet couple or what?
Right now Draco is coming trough the door maybe I should listen.
"Hey, Hermione I bring apologies from Ron and Harry but they couldn't come today. I have happy and sad news. I'll start with the happy one … I'm engaged to Lavender and we are going to have a shotgun wedding, since … well she is pregnant. On the other hand Molly and Arthur passed away two days ago, so the Weaslys is very low at the moment. Well I kind of have to go now, but I'll come back I promise."
He then left me, once again alone with my thoughts. Molly and Arthur dead; it just couldn't be true! If I could I would have screamed and cried.
But Draco and Lavender, seems like a good enough couple, they sound sweet together.
It feels like I'm floating close to the ceiling and is looking down on my self. Everybody is in my room, a healer pulls a white sheet over my head and I'm floating away. Away from the gray world I knew and somewhere in my past loved, to a world of calmness where I will wait on the others till they join me.
Then I will finally be free.
