Light. That is all that was seen. He felt like he was floating, just drifting along to nowhere. He didn't remember how he got here, only that he was very comfortable. He felt the warmness of the air on his skin. How could one describe this place? Quiet. Too quiet. It was only when he heard a voice did he open his eyes to hear who called him.
"Sepheroth," she called out. The silver-haired man looked up to see a familiar face above him.
"Aires?"
"Yes," she replied giving a warm smile.
This shocked him. Why was the girl so nice towards him? After all, he did kill her.
"Why are you so puzzled?" Aires questioned.
"Where am I?"
"In the life stream," she answered him.
"... Are we just going to float around here all the time?"
"No, it is your time to come to the promised land."Aires said as she gently grabbed for his hand.
Pulling his hand away quickly, he asked "Time?"
"Yes, you have been here long enough,"
" How long was I here?" Seph questioned.
" For an actualy time, refering back to how we measured time while we lived, two years" Aires said sweetly.
" TWO YEARS?? What took so long?"
"Well, I had to convince the other Ceta's that you were worthy of entering the Promised land."
"Look what I did for them!" he shouted in anger and confusion. "I was going to give the planet back for them."
"They did not see it in that way," she said with a slight frown on her face. " They saw you as a murderer. You killed a lot of innocent people. They all questioned..."
" All? said Sepheroth slightly agitated. "Every lasty one? I doubt that."
" Your right," she said looking him in the eyes. " I stood up for you in your defense." Seph gave her a look they told her to explain why. " I beleive what you did was for the betterof the Centra. But it was just done in the wrong way. You were misguided by your mother, butt your intentions were honest. I managed to save you."
"And what of my mother?"
" I am sorry," she said glancing down. " But she was not chosen to come."
Seph looked away because he was upset. " Sepheroth! Listen, i wasn't able to save your mother,but I saved you! " Seph still wasn'tlooking. "Do you think it was easy for me? To say that the man who burned down a villiage in revenge, tried to make himself a god, AND the one who kiled me deserves to live in eternal happiness? NO!!!! That is why it took you two years! That is how long Ihave tried to get you! HEY!!!"
" I hear ya!" Seph said in reply to her shouting. "why?"
"...?"
"Why did you save me?" he questioned.
" Because I believe you lived your live misguided. I believe if you were not under the control of what you were, you would have lived it better."
" You sound so sure of yourself,"Seph said sternly as he crossed his arms. He pondered why this girl was even trying. Yet her persistance was intreging...
She gave him a warm smile. He stared at her, realizing that maybe she really did care. Did this girl like me?
" Will you come with me?" she asked as she held ut herarms.
" But my mom," Seph replied. " I will have no one"
" You will have me,"she said as she grabbed his hands in hers. Sephlooked up directly in her eyes. He saw a caring young lady inside. Why didn't he see this before? Maybe he wouldn't have killed her then. They started off to the promised land.
" Why do you treat me so nicley afterall that I have done?" Seph questioned.
" Because you are my angel."
With that last response said,Seph knew where he belonged. He finallyfound the one person that loved him for who he was,not just because he was a war hero or anything like that. He held his beauty closer and gave her a smile back. Gazing at her beauty, he leant forwardand gave his love a kiss.
