Hi all. Anyone else still wishing for a third FF? Just so we can meet Franklin Richards and maybe his baby sister Valeria.
Since that'll probably never happen I decided to write a story about Franklin. I was going to write he is named from his grandfather and then I looked it up and I am right lol. I'll shut up now so you can just read my version of Franklin's birth.
Her face was soaked with happy tears as she stared down at her bundle of joy. Reed's face was similar as he stroked his son's cheek fondly.
"He is so beautiful Sue…I am so proud of you" Reed murmured and Sue smiled at her husband.
"Thanks…I have a name already…if its okay with you" she responded.
"Of course…" Reed said instantly.
Sue turned her eyes back to her son lovingly. With one arm still wrapped protectively around him she used her other to stroke his small face.
"Franklin Benjamin Richards….this way he has both his grandfather and godfather with him always"
"Guess he won't need me then"
Both turned to the hurt voice and Johnny stared at them. He had a bouquet of roses in a vase in his hands. He quickly put it on their bedside table.
"Thought you'd like the flowers…I know you love roses Susie…I'll leave now" Johnny told her.
Reed didn't even move from the bed as he grabbed Johnny's arm. "You are so lazy now" Johnny said and Mr. Fantastic grinned.
"Franklin wants to meet his uncle…your always going to be his blood uncle…we wanted Ben to know he is family too" Reed explained calmly.
Sue nodded. "I'd never leave you out Johnny…you will always be our annoying baby brother" she added.
Johnny smiled. "Yeah…I know…I just wanted to hear you admit you'd never survive without me" he said.
Reed chuckled. "Always the drama queen" he muttered.
"I think you mean king" Johnny pointed out. Reed shook his head. "No" he answered. "I said it right."
Johnny gave him a glare but there was love behind it. "Ha ha old man" he retorted and Reed only chuckled.
He stood up and gently lifted his son. "Franklin my sweet boy I'd like you to meet Uncle Johnny" he told the baby.
Franklin had begun to cry slightly as he had been content with his beautiful mother. But, when he was secure with his uncle he settled again.
"Ha, even a newborn recognizes my awesomeness…I love you Frankie" he told the child.
He swore Frankie smiled slightly at that.
"Just don't drop him flame boy" a small growl came from behind. "Hey look it's your rocky godfather…good luck with that kid" Johnny replied.
Ben gasped. "Really?" he asked.
"Aw rocky is emotional Frankie…better brace yourself for a rock slide of tears" he jokingly said.
"Ha ha Uncle matchsticks" Ben said giving him a glare. Johnny only smiled fondly to him.
"Congratulations Ben…" he said sincerely. "Thanks kid…back at ya Uncle Johnny" he replied.
"You know…for a family of superheroes…this feels…normal…kinda creepy if you ask me" Johnny said as Ben sat in a chair.
Alicia sat on his lap and Johnny let her hold Franklin.
"Don't ruin it Johnny" Sue scolded Johnny chuckled. He moved to her, knelt down and gave her a warm hug.
"Congratulations Sue…he's amazing" he whispered. "Thanks little brother" she replied.
Least for now she could pretend they were just a normal family. Sue closed her eyes, appreciating the small vacation.
